My mission to collect every car in the game has now slowed to a crawl. In fact there are only 3 Standard cars under the trade limit, that I have still to acquire.

Arta NSX '00
Penzoil Zexel GT-R '01
Xanavi Hiroto GT-R '01

I've already traded a car today, so if you can offer me any of these cars, I can offer you any 5 chrome, matte or colour shift paints, and I've got them all to offer you.
Let me know if you're interested in trading.

Now to find the half dozen non tradable standard cars and grind enough cash for the premiums.

Going to have to pass on to someone else. My PS3 has just left this mortal coil... Crashed viewing a car, now just a flashing red LED and no boot.

Sorry, but doubt this is going to fix itself over night. 2nd dead PS3 in 3 and a bit years. Might have to raid the piggy bank, well, going to have to raid the piggy bank........ Lots of self-censorship going on here...

Sounds like you might have the dreaded Yellow Light Of Death. Before you scrap the old one, there are places that can repair it. Give them a try.

There's a distinct lack of yellow showing, but I'll have a read up on it as I know nada about it at present time....

Doubt there's a good time for the thing to blow, but any way I'll take your advice and see if there's anyone about who can take a peek inside and pull off some magic.

The one bit of good news is I had very recently backed up onto a pen drive, so at least my 1000+ cars are "safe".

YellowLight Of Death is a bit misleading. The ps3 starts booting, then it makes 3 beeps , the red light flashes, and it shuts down. Defo worth trying to get it fixed before you scrap it. And if it's not repairable, broken ones still go for about 50 quid on eBay.

When the Red LED light keeps flashing it means your PS3 is overheated. Keeping a PS3 in a place wheres theres little or no ventilation is going to send your PS3 to an early grave.
