The Last Time Trial..

ok.. ive been tryiing this one over and over and over again. its the time trial where you need to go around the complex string circuit in that silver RUF. im constantly about 3 seconds off Kazunori's lap time and it seems impossible, which is kind of annoying becaus im trying to 100% the game before GT4

i know its all down to practice but i was wondering if anyone else has done this one and if they found it tough aswell.:confused:
 
Just really watch the replay hard, then compare it to yours, see where you need to improve, and just keep your cool the whole way around the track...I found it tough...:) But then I beat it.
 
An old 4.41 is the only Mpeg i could find and it happens to be mine :D , this should help you out though 👍 just click the pic and it should start buffering in media player ;)

 
I have completed this time trial now......i beat Kazunori's time by 0.002, how i jumped up a down :D

Though i don't have 100% because i haven't done the Tahiti Maze time trial, and i can't do it. And i have tried it about 30 times. I hate Rally :(

he recently blew this out of the water with a 1.55.8 but this is the only TT9 i could find in mpeg format

Hello, Will, and welcome. Look on the Search page, using "TT10" and searching just the GT3 board. There are several threads full of advice and tips for passing this one.

That video looks alot like my 1:55.9, same lines used and all.:)
Except mine is in MPH of course. I should get some of my replays into MPEGS for the whole world to giggle at.:lol:
If you have a sharkport you can see my TT9 run. I just wanna show it off cause I'm a jerk like that.

I found the Tahiti Maze time trial harder than the Complex String one too. Complex String wasn't all that tough to me. Tahiti Maze was more aggravating to beat than Complex String.

You just have to get good at rally S-curves to be the master at Tahiti Maze, and if you're good at Tahiti Maze, you can easily get gold in all the Rally Licneses. You really only need to know what angle to drift at, so that you're going kinda slow through the apex of each turn instead of flying way outside. You can screw up the turns pretty bad and still correct with a little accelerator control and lose minimal time.

I think the people that hate TT9 are just people that don't care about rally and have no desire to figure it out.
