It has some of the ugliest colored leather I've ever seen, however.
This must be newer than 1995 since apparently the first imported M3s to North America were the 1995 models of the E36. Also, the clear indicator lights at the front show it too. However, unlike its European counterpart, it produced a mere 240 HP instead of 316HP, and is electronically limited to 220KMH.The E36 did come in an automatic transmission too.
It looks like it was decently taken care of by the original owner. Tbh, it will probably need a lot of money put into it just to make it run again. It would be quite a project though. Would need engine rebuild, clutch probably seized, new tires, and all new fuel lines just to start. Would definitely find the owner first though.
If similar laws apply in the UAE i'm on the next plane to Dubai ;-)
lol I should just go there and be like "So that's where I left it!" and hotwire it and drive away. Everyone in the apartments will will laugh so much since it will look like I forgot where I parked for lie 10yrs lol.
Seriously tho call a toe person and move it. It just takes up a spot right now and doesn't look super pretty anymore.
That's not far from where I usually stay in OKC. I should be up there again in a month or so visiting family in Edmond. May make the effort to look for this car myself. It's in Midwest City, about eight miles east of the OKC Central Business District...in close proximity to Tinker Air Force base. I read somewhere that you'd have to get with the landlord of the property to claim the vehicle as abandoned, since it's on their property.
We have pretty mild winters. Some years it doesn't even snow, some years we get one to two big storms. We're actually calling for 74 degrees tomorrow if that tells you anything. I don't even know if the owner even lives in the apartments or if someone just left it here years ago to blend in. It's quite a shame, really.
What about the internals? The fluids? If it's been sitting there for over five years, I wouldn't want it unless I had the money to fix everything.
