I'm so god I'm not an English teacher, I'd drive myself nuts with all the things around me that I'd find errors on.

God damn... I can't read any of these literally, it hurts my head too much. I think I lost some brain cells too. I know what teachers are going though.

The best one is Paper #6. The student explains his grandfather worked with lasers when he worked for the government, and that his father is a dentist who uses them for various reasons. The last comment says, "What? No concluding paragraph or sentence? How about, 'In conclusion, my grandfather fueled the arms race and my dad causes pain for a living.'" Excellent.

Pretty slim, considering most of the papers talk about lasers in american society.

But, wait, are these COLLEGE PAPERS, or was one of his comments just geared toward the future? I thought they were like 3rd graders. That's the level they're on, anyway.

I've never had the pleasure of being able to turn in ANY assignment that was only a paragraph long in my entire undergraduate career. Also, who the hell would write a paragraph on how lasers are great for physics homework? These kids seem to be writing at the most at the highschool level, only because one girl in one of the papers refers to her boyfriend, and another talks about how he or she had "outpatient surgery" in the past.

At least, I sure hope to hell these aren't college students...
