The Moderator's Secret Forum??

I find it funny that Noc started this thread.;)

He's now able to see what goes on inside there.:D

What? You guys really do have a secret forum?

I don't like to cause trouble :shakehead but...

In a way by excluding members from a forum :forbidden, it does kind of go back to that worry mentioned in a post a while back about having 'Clubs' were only selected members could participate

I like the idea of maybe getting Moderators to work together but by having this Secret forum, hasn't a Club been formed?

Would it be an idea 💡 to allow everyone to view the Forum but only let Mods Post? And any other discreet issues between Mods can be sorted out be PM or Email? :computer:

No - they talk about certain members (me) behind their backs in there. It'd be right to our faces if we coud see.

? How exactly are we "not loyal anymore?" The secret forum is just a name of a forum regular members cannot see. Would it be better if the name of the forum were changed to a different name?

GTS-R_MAN, you've heard the term "making a mountain out of a mole-hill"? The Moderator's Secret Forum is used to discuss moderation policies and rule enforcement and nothing else. Opening it up for the public to read, but not post, would simply cause members to fill moderator's PM boxes with manipulative messages regarding what they think they should say, which isn't what I want to read. I want the moderator's honest personal opinions on important community issues, and I believe limiting access to the forum allows them to do that.

Guys - I think this has been blown completely out of proportion.

The 'secret' forum is purely there for moderators to discuss forum related matters - we're not secretly plotting against members in there, or even planning world domination (well, not until we secure funding, anyway, lol).

Think of it as the staff room at the local school (well, without the teacher/student relationship thing, anyway).
