I am good with the way the laps are for A-Spec is not like I got time to race 5 times around the ring, thats 35 minutes there....

and when theBob just goes round a 'simple corner' like the Autumn ring Mini, that i can do better in a kart than him, its just Grrrrr:banghead:Soo Unfair that he has more laps
anyway:gtpflag:

I agree in so much that is being said here, b-spec is pointless and boring and shouldn't have been in the game, or at least it could be one level in between the beginner and extreme events with varying difficulty. the way it is now, is just ridiculous.

and as for the a-spec events, it's not the length of the races that disappoints me, but the amount.

I think these threads are very good, but I wonder... does anybody who can change anything actually read them? or are we just complaining to each other and seeing that we are all as frustrated by the same things?

Another thing that annoys me is how hard it is to earn money in this game. I like that you can't win the cars more than one time, but that you can't sell them is just stupid, and the fact that I need a 14,000,000-, car when the most I can earn on a race is a little over 100,000 per race is also a bit crap...

haters!

We are not haters, but there are alot of annoying an simply stupid things about this game, and we must be aloud to speak our minds about it. If you don't like to read the dislikes of the people, stay out of those kind of threads!

i dont get it... b spec is not that fun at all for me... im done the beginner events only... and then on top of that its almost twice the length of a spec races... and to me it feels like they couldnt think of any more events so they just took b spec into a separate section and just duplicated all the races... its no where near as fun as gt4 where we had the option to swap between a spec and b spec during races and in pit stops... i still remember doing endurance races in gt4 and taking turns with my driver... its just boring now

I agree. I wish you could make the A Spec events longer. 1 lap around the Ring isnt enough for me, but Bob gets 2.

There should be a length adjuster for A Spec. Short, Medium, Long. With the prize money adjusting accordingly. Would make repeating races more fun as you can do them at the length you want.

THIS!

you sir just had the best idea i've seen in this forums yet
i'd love to have this implemented to gt5

I've only the last three endurance races left in B Spec to do working toward level 33.
Some have certainly been tedious but I have handed my Bobs the FGT at every opportunity
to get some credits earned and cars built up in the garage to race online with...
...when I can get back into my cockpit with a proper wheel.

So all and all B Spec has saved me from just staring at the pretty box GT5 came in and rolling the little toy car around making engine noises.

I will set off later to redo some of the B Spec runs with more even cars that I've tuned an run in A Spec.
But for now it's all about building an army to do battle with later...
...sort of like in Risk.

Cheers

Wow random. Pop in this thread and the lastpost was a quote from me, Weird.

Anyway. Longer better I say. How hard can it be to implement something double the laps, double the money?

I agree, though this is not what I would call a fix, but a band aid... The events are all too short... I'd be all for tighter restrictions and longer events, that way we might actually learn to be better drivers and not just blast through the events with exp as the only motivator... And you just don't get any attachment or get to know the car all that well in so few laps...

Just looking at the seasonal events, its not at all hard to add events to the game, heck these seasonal events don't even need an update and are handled completely remotely. And the GUI is simple "blocks", pretty easy stuff...

But I'm willing to bet there is going to be a huge online update that is sorted/mirror of A-spec but only populated by online players with tighter restrictions... rendering the A spec events as just practice.... And B-spec, also a mirror will get online so we can do bob vs bob/s...

Forza had an idea like this... but not enough time to implement it... it slipped from a Turn 10 designer at E3... the hopper system was meant for all 250 offline events... those events being the real hopper system with a simple option for on or offline.

Perhaps this is GT's future... as its no mystery the best racing games are nearly all online like iracing etc. this would reduce the product aging/shelf life substantially... Game developer know its not enough to just give someone 8 hours of fun for $60 anymore... especially when other $60 games give a LOT more value...

This is my prediction :)
