Discuss your MP3 Players, iPod, MP3-compatible cell phones, etc here. Post a pic if you want!

I'll start it off, I have a Samsung-Napster YH-920. It's a 20-Gigabyte standard MP3 Player. It's got a blue and black screen with backlight on, not full color. I can record radio, voice, and Audio-out compatible devices' music. Connects via USB, has about a 12 hour battery. Came with 2 months of Napster and Audible. Also came with the leather case, chrager dock, and white earbuds (black ones are ones I had before and match the case).

Pictures:

On the charging dock and connected to my computer. It can charge while connected. I like that alot. I can also use it to connect to my PS2 for Photomode. No need for a Flash Key, but I still want one :) Looks washed out because it had to be brightened.

On my basement floor in the case. Main menu shown.

I like it because it's just a really basic MP3 player that I can also store any kind of file on (My computer recognizes it as an external disk, so I can store pictures from Photomode on it, videos, or files for school on it). Not many people have this model, so that makes it unique around here. Too many iPods.

Hmm... I did search for MP3 Player, but I didn't get any results. Strange. I guess this is redundant, but it does allow people to list ANY mp3 player that they have. That one just asks Which one(s) do you have from this list?

Thanks for showing it though, I'm not sure if it should be locked now.

i have a 4g greyscale 20gig ipod. It seems like old technology now compared to the new 5g ipods with video but i still love it

Here is my mp3 player and my phone, both I use to listen to music on.

The player is a Archos G-mini 402; 20gb, color screen, voice recorder, video player, picture viewer and you can even play games on it. I absolutly love it!

My phone is some huge LG mp3 phone with stereo speakers 1.3 mp camera with flash etc...its pretty loaded! I Have a 512mb card with it.

I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that the Zen Vision: M was the best MP3/Video player on the market. So I bought it and it's ****ing awesome. I mainly use it to watch video, but it's also a great audio player. I've got a cool setup for it--a Pocket Amp 2 and a set of Grado S80s. The Pocket Amp is absolutely amazing and I can't even listen to my MP3 player without it anymore. You can buy one on eBay or contact the guy directly--I think I paid about 60 bucks for it and it's definitely worth it.

The iPod with Rockbox looks very nice. Anything with Rockbox gets two thumbs up.

My cellphone can also play MP3s (it's an LG CU500), although I haven't bought a microSD card to take advantage of it. Pretty soon I'll be blasting the theme song to Beverly Hills Cop, though.

Good call on the Zen. Though there are rumors that Creative will come out with an EAX player (ie, an audiophile player).

Here's my ROCKbox'd iRiver H320, bought last year with a pair of aging Shure E2C's. The flash highlights all the (tiny) scratches though.

^^ How much was that Archos? Looks really cool!

Funny story actually. When I went to buy it they had the price tag for the older model, which they were selling for $350 (cnd) and the new model should cost about $420. So because of the screwup I paid the older model price for the brand spanking new one :D 👍

Nice choice of headphones GTRacer4. :) . I've considered the e2c's but since im poor, i just ended up getting a pair of sennheiser cx300's

They're worth it, I paid £45 for mine, the wires are getting pretty worn (you can see the wire inside), so I have to send them in to Shure for replacement. Once those fall apart (when it goes out of warranty) I'll probably consider E4Cs (in black of course). :D
