Nice. Shouldn't be to hard whipping the light and powerful cobra around a soaked track... what could possibly go wrong?

Wicked. 👍

Edit: I have this severe desire to go back into the Superbird... It's calling me. :nervous:

sounds interesting... i'm not affraid to take a C3 Stingray into shelby country. 👍

Still around. Just give me the word. Of course ya do got to get me out of my Amemiya also, that I seem to be doing so well in the JGTC this time around.

Hey guys.

Only me...... :sly:

Love the series so i'm gonna have to have me one of those sexy looking Charger Super Bee 426 Hemi's please???? :) :) :) :)

Send me the invoice when your ready :sly: :sly: :sly: :sly:

I have finally chosen the color for my Charger! There were just so many....

Even better I have tuned it to near-perfection. It handles far better than I ever expected it to, especially with over 600 horses under the hood!

If anyone would like to compare laps for benchmarking or whatever, feel free to PM me. I've also got settings for the Charger that might be useful to a select few of you. They could translate into good settings for similar cars like the Cougar. *shrugs*

I am just itching to get underway!

Can't wait either... Just 2 and a half weeks away. :)

Edited first post from people in interest to confirmed entrants and assumed entrants.

A quick question:

Is this supposed to be an American Musclecar race? I ask this because I'm pretty sure the Jenson Interceptor is an English car. If it's not strictly an American car race, why not allow the AC Cobra other than because the slightly different power and weight? I'm not using said cars, but I think it'd be some good info for other drivers. Perhaps they'd rather have a Cobra where they can drive on the right side. ;)

It's both countries, the UK and the US. I was thinking of letting the AC play, but decided against it. I may change my mind in some testing later tonight...

Thanks for asking. :)

Someone needs to come in last; for this series, that someone will be me.

I'm going to choose my ride tonight, but I'll probably go with the GTO or Cuda, mostly so that more of the available cars are selected. :D

Welcome! :) Good to hear someone choosing a diverse vehicle for once!!

Hi Jetboys427 & Folks

Just modded my Dodge Charger RT, to your specs and took it for a burn
around Infinion and it was a hoot, very very fun drive 👍, and on the strength
of that I'm considering joining the series :).

The only thing thats stopping me from giving you a definite "yes I'm in" is
the selection of tracks :scared:. I dont know if im masochistic enough to try and
punt one of these huge things around places with so many walls and such
little room for error ( and i make plenty of errors :dunce: ), though I guess thats
why you chose them. :sly:

I will try out a few of the tracks before letting you know if I'm definatley in
or not, but I thought I would let you know I do love the feel of the cars
and how there modded. 👍

Well, Steve, good to have you on board! :) I just wanted to post to say that and that The Beloved AC 427 is available!!!!

Man that car is a dog to drive!

EDIT: Okay, I had a vineyard green one of these laying around unmodified, so put me down for that one ;)

Do I need to PM you my setup?

No you do not, so long as it falls under guidelines. ;) Good to have you back, Koly. How was England?

England was great. It had been 2 years since seeing my mom, dad and sis, so it was awesome just to hang out with them ... man, so much fun. They're more 'friends' than family, in a really cool way, so I miss them all. Ah, good times.

Down side?

I'm as rusty as hell behind the DFP!!! It's weird how quickly you lose it, and I never had much of 'it' in the first place!

Wow. I'm so behind I didn't even know you had gone anywhere! Hopefully I won't be so behind in the series, too!

Welcome back. I hope to get a chance to race you THIS time! *cackles maniacally*

My PS2 broke during Koly's series. It's running strong now. The same can't be said of b-spec Bob... 8 seconds slower than ME?? Impressive but for all the wrong reasons. lol

Welcome back yourself RWR ... finally we'll be able to get on the same track again after quite a lay off, eh?

I've decided on the GTO. In the (limited) testing I was able to do, the 'cuda and the GTO felt pretty similar. Since the GTO wonderfully lacks 'go-faster' stripes, that's what I chose.

Soyfu has chosen to join this and is using the Plymouth Superbird... Very, very wicked. :)👍

Ok , after testing 4 or so of the available cars I'm still going to pick the Dodge Charger R/T , not because I think it's the fastest, but because if I dont select it I know I would be wishing I did pick it the more the series goes on.
Why ? , I just love the way it looks, and it sounds pretty good too :sly:.

Tried a few of the curcuits out and feel that the diversity between the tighter tracks and the more open ones should give everyone a chance to be at the pointy end sometime during the series.

So put me down as a definate starter for the series, see you all at the start line 👍 .

Steve

Jet, mark me down for a Barracuda if no one else selects it. If someone does, I may decide to go with the Jensen just to be different.
