Is it just mee, or, do you find yourself watching the whole thing MUCH more often then the old intro? I liked the old one alot.. but this one, witht eh way it leads up to the yellow 458 italia, with the music building up and everything.. i find it REALLY awsome, Great Job with this one PD!

I went on youtube and favorited the intro. Then downloaded it to my ipod. It is truly amazing.

I was about to post a thread about this. The intro is way better in every aspect, and worthy of a GT intro.

I wish they picked a more modern song than one that sounds like you are watching Charlie Chaplin and the Prius Factory..

I love the new intro. Soul on Display is a much better music choice. I was one of the people who did in fact like the MCR song that was chosen for the old intro, but the new one is so, so much better!

Ok, I admit that description made me chuckle.

But I also happen to like the piano piece in the factory portion.

The shots are fantastic, but the music, meh. I don't like that technoy stuff, I want Moon Over the Castle, the greatest Gran Turismo theme song EVAR.

The factory song is waaaayy better than the old one. I like the complexity and how it goes with the video.

Am I right by thinking that at the end of the new intro, PD's hinting a new track: http://youtu.be/U6VOHhIwtBo?t=5m6s

That's not a new track to the GT Series, but that would be Test Track as the small guard rail and the meters on the track are clues.

I actually like the shift from the end of the piano piece to Daiki's song. I find that to me this is the most important way to change the feel with the video. Then again, I also liked the first intro, as I have both of them on my iPod in their entirety (plus the racing sounds).

Aren't they the same thing really?

No they are not sadly.

The real Monaco isn't as wide as Cote D'Azur is, making it more difficult to pass. The pit road complex is also based on Monaco from before the 2003 change. The track in GT5 has more walls to prevent course cutting. However, the AI in my eyes behaves as if it actually is Monaco.

Wait... there's a new intro??

I mean, I know I read that there was going to be a new intro, and I read people talking about the new intro, and when I downloaded Spec 2 it SAID there was a new intro, and that I'd have to use GTTV to ever watch the old one again. But no intro ever played, so I went into options and turned the intro movie on.

I haven't actually payed much attention past the first bit, but the first bit didn't change. I just assumed they put different gameplay bits on the end of it. Same factory start, same stupid song at the end. I was looking forward to turning off a new boring video with a new horrible song, too. It's come up several times but it's never been anything different.

You need to download the new intro from gttv first, which then replaces the original intro.

You mean the new kart track and Spa Francochamp, both of which will be released as DLC on the 18th?

Nope, look at the end of the video, with the X2011 speeding off on a track with numbers painted on it. That would be Test Course.

Oh, ok, thanks... now I feel dumb. I thought it was just saying that both were AVAILABLE to watch from there, not that I NEEDED to go get the new one. They must be assuming that there are people who actually know how GTTV works, and possibly even wanted them to spend the time and money making it in the first place, then. I did click on it once. :)

The piano intro is lenghts better than the old one. The choice of music for the GT5 part is better (Soul on Display vs. My Chemical Romance?) the cars, the tracks, everything. The new intro movie made me feel the same as the first time I fired up the game. 👍

This version of "5OUL" is more of a rock-techno remix, that still manages to sound like an epic rock song like the original. And I LOVE epic rock songs.

"MotC" may be the GT series theme, but as indicated heavily by their use of it in various trailers and promotions, "5OUL" is GT5's specific main theme. =)
