The new POD CD "Testify"Music

Has anyone else picked this one up?

I'm not a big POD fan at all, but after hearing "Goodbye, For Now", I decided to pick it up. It seems as though they have changed their sound a bit, for the better. Less depressing, self-righteous crap and more high energy music. Even Goodbye For now is not depressing, it's more introspective and thought-provoking. Overall, a pretty good CD. Not the best in my collection (Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned by Prodigy is currently my favorite), but good nonetheless.
 
Just got it today. Listening to it right now. Very good cd so far. One of the best "Jesus Rock" (I don't really like that term) albums on my hard drive. 👍

Ever since they made Sattellite they've been on the decline to me. I haven't heard anything but Goodbye for now from they're new album but it seems to be gettin further and futher away from hard rock type stuff.

And if your complaining about the God references, you do realize they're a Christian band.

It really is almost haunting in a sense and it does get stuck in your head too easily.

The new album does have a hard rock sound to it.

And no, I'm not complainging about the references to God. I was just saying that I don't like the term "Jesus Rock." Only reason I used it is because most people don't associate bands with a sound similar to POD's with being Christian.
I am a Christian and have a lot of Christian Rock on my hard drive. 👍

I'm glad to hear that. I was bit skeptical about buyin this album until now cuz I hadn't hera anything Hard Rockin from it yet.

I guess that true. There aren't that many Hard Rock Christian artists out there. Actually P.O.D are the only ones I know of.
