do you think there making this new wheel because the steering in GT4 will be so realistic you'll basicly need it? or did the old one need improvment?

They're making the wheel because they know there are a lot of us GT freaks who will buy it :)

Been re-playing through GT3...this time with the D-pad. Seems to work ok, but you (Err..I) just don't seem to have the same level of control I did with the wheel. I think it's just easier to dial in teeny-tiny corrections when you've got all that wheel to work with.

Not really, , i was talking about the logitech force wheel.

it has 3/4 braking problem

and also it does not let u shift when the wheel is fully turned either way.

i was hoping the new wheel + gt4 combo would be $100.. but guess that will never happen.. since wheel is announced for $149 by itself :P..:banghead:

Will it ONLY work with PS2 or will it work with the PC too. I own countless racing games on PC that would benefit greatly from a quality wheel.

my wheel has the 75%brake problem, along with a calibration problem. i can calibrate my wheel, and its off centered naturally. but i think only the first batch or something had this bug.

hey guys i dunno if sumbody has seen the relation but if youd had a clutch in gt4 ud have to have damage....because when u miss shift a lot and for noob that dont know what a clutch is...do u imagine!! they would rbeak their transmissions daily ..

When any game company develps a game, they have to think about their audiences. Do you possible think that a 4 year old can already start shifting with a clutch?

I have the PC version of the Logitech wheel, with the red grips. It works perfectly with GT3 - and the GT3 wheel works with PC, if you download the driver at logitech.com

My guess is that Logitech will be making a PC version of the wheel too, but this one will work until then.

if you want one NOW, I hear MOMOFORCE wheel for PC works 100% with GT3.:trouble:

I have the old MOMO, with the leather covering, and it works perfectly. My old Logitech is collecting dust :trouble: and so is my controller - just use that for menu navigation.

They should let us dismount the shifter from the unit so that we can place the ****er in our desired location. The shift should have its own mounting piece so that we can move it around...what about right hand driving cars?

As much as I'd like to have the shifter to the side of me, I think Logitech would have a hard time designing that.

If it was possible though, I'd love that!

Well, You're right, but then you're wrong. Gran Turismo is "The Real Driving Simulator," so it would make more sense. Even I know how to use a clutch. And besides, they could make it an option whether to use it or not just like the option of Automatic transmission and Manual transmission.

I only know of 2 games that use a clutch, Rally Cross for PSX and Viper Racing For PC..I think a clutch would be the best addition To The gt series if they put one in, even though i said i drive automatic...im starting to drive manual now because its better for drifting

From what I have heard, it IS designed so you can put the shifter in either side :)

I agree. It would be nice to have a clutch, but kids and newbs would despise GT4 for being "too hard". Leaving the clutch out would be the best way to go.
