The New Seasonal Events

Hey-

I'm just wondering, ever since i've completed pretty much all the A-spec races I started doing Seasonal Events mainly to just pocket some extra credits. After the latest Seasonal Events update, it seems to me that P.D. has decreased the amount of credits you win in the Seasonal Events. I still finish them but it won't exactly be a get-rich-quick-strategy anymore :(

Has anyone else noticed this?

l think they've gone up. The 5th race in the 1st seasonal event was worth 1,000,000 credits. In the future events, it gradually went up to 1,500,000 and the newest one is now 2,000,000.

I noticed the last one gave you more than normal, but the rest gave considerably less not even enough to reinburse you for the modifications made to said car still worth doing though to help gain levels

You must be putting way too much into those cars. A set of sport soft tires and the drivetrain upgrades are enough to win a lot of the seasonal events. If you're still having trouble then a turbo #2 and an ECU will certainly do it.

The seasonal races have always paid 5x to 10x what I have had to put into them to win.

I would have agreed, but the Schwimmewagen Type 166(or what ever) race payout was horrible. The car cost 650K, and the payout was I think 800k. Plus the competition in that race was running 3x the HP than a stock Type 166, so you had to do lots of upgrading.

This round of Seasonal Events, and the one before, each have a cumulative payout (total) of 3.5 million credits. 800k for the Schwimmwagen event, 150k for the Peugeot 207, 200k for the Tuscan, 350k for the 8C, and 2m for the Euro GP/D run. The one before that, you had 300k for the MiEV, 450k for the C-30 R, 500k for the Challenger Challenge, 750k for the Golf at the 'Ring, and 1.5m for the JGTC run. Total is the same.

What likely CHANGED is that many people had to lay out 650k for the Schwimmwagen, where on other events, they likely DIDN'T have to lay out 500-950k for the JGTC car or the DTM car, because it's likely something they already had in their garage.

I went into this round of SE at 20,000,000 credits. I totalled up the potential winnings (3.5m) and deducted that amount from my 20m, because that's how much I could "safely" spend on cars to finish the events, and still replace that money.

Needless to say, I couldn't spend enough on just those cars, even if I really tried. I was *forced* to go buy other cars as well, just to clear out room under the cap, or lose the credits and get only the XP.

Are you going to get fabulously wealthy doing the SE? Meh... You'll get some nice coin, though, and hopefully have quite a good time doing them.
