I dont think it to bad tbh. Everybody had a good run at getting a few cars for free/cheap so now its over tough do it properly from now on.

they have ruined it tbh you should be able to trade any car
what happens if someone wants to trade something like a Audi R8 Race car which they cant now they have ruined Gran Turimso they need to change it back trading is pointless now

I know, not everyone can go on GT5 24 hours a day.

Unless they make so that you can get some UCD cars whenever you want, it would take a very long time to collect all cars, especially now that they've put in this trade limit.

Not good enough PD, just not good enough....

I think PD should update GT5 to have an official trading system. No limit on what can be traded, either. They should also make sure the game saves as the trade goes through, and make the birthday gift limited to one PS3 per year.

20,000,000 credit limit, one car sent per PS3 per day AND a 1,000,000 limit on any car traded. Why do people think that sounds good at all?

Seriously, consider what you're in support of and realize how ridiculously stupid it is. If you want to limit us to 1 million cap then remove the 20 million cap so that we can actually save up money and buy those cars in the UCD when they do happen to show up.

The only way they can really control this trading problem is by storing each user's garage online and saving a local copy that is not able to be backed up (for when the user is offline). It wouldn't be all that tough to work out.

I agree, no one likes to grind 20.000.000 credits theirself. But hey, everyone has a back up of their gamesave. So why would this limit prevent issues?

But its not called Gran Tradeismo so who cares about the 1m cap? Its one of the only car games you can trade cars so just be happy with that. And as for collectors you can get the cars as PD intended by completing the races/event/licences

Try to collect every car yourself. I give you a year.

yeah but people are allowed to play however they want.

I'm sorry, but why does this matter to you so much?

I see a lot of people come out to tell other people not to enjoy various aspects of a car collection game. they insist it's not about trading at all. Why?

If you use GT just to race, and not to trade, I'm not going to tell you not to. If you play warhawk just to drive the tank, I won't tell you that's wrong. It's weird to care what other people do with their games.

GT came with the ability to trade cars. I am glad GT is refining many of its aspects to improve a game that was rushed (yet delayed). Good for them, but removing the trading of expensive cars entirely because they aren't happy with how it's working is not very consumer friendly.

They should instead make it work. I think that wouldn't be so difficult if they cut out a few of the duping avenues and then had an official trade system (where you both put up what's for trade, and then both approve, and then your systems save instantly).

Why do you care about telling people not to see GT as a trading game? If it's not something you want to do, don't do it.

I also think it's a little silly that people are telling others not to care. This game takes a lot of work. People play it because there is inherent enjoyment value in some of the simulated cars. We wouldn't be here if there wasn't. So let people enjoy and care about whatever they want. It's not hurting anyone.

I'm very frustrated because I'm owed back a car from someone who says he already used his trade slot for today. I worked hard for the car. It's needless aggravation.

I get the sense some people enjoy the idea that others don't get to play with the same toys they get to play with. some kind of 'I just want to feel special and elite'. Seems a little sad to me.

they should done it so both people should have to send at once but what they done is ridiculess you cant trade no decent cars anymore its sad
i cba keep getting money for expensive cars :/

Should have any ebay type money credit system like fifa 11 for all trades IMO

Doo, a lot of games seem to be able to handle trades effectively. Let's be honest: gifts alone don't make much sense. Trade does. Having a gifting system without a trade system is kinda lazy. My guess is that Polyphony intends to have a trading system update and hasn't gotten it completed yet.

My hope is that they do get around to some kind of basically secure trade system. Trading cars is fun.

Yeh some people aka me like trading cars because cmon it would take you years to get every car without trading i admit i do dupe cars but i have fun trading cars and getting a free car every day now they gone and ruined the game for me

Yeah. What I would like is a trading system, like player 1 offers this, player 2 the offers this. Do you accept this? If both players accept the trade is done and there is no scamming at all.

If they just 'fix' the duping, instead of the 'car credits trade limit' no one would be angry about this whole thing.

i don't no its working though as i can send any car i just need someone to trade with :(

I'd rather they keep the 1M limit and not restrict us to sending 1 car per PS3 per day. I understand that some people took advantage of the 1 car per account system before, but really PD? Restrict us to 1 car per PS3 per day!? Are you guys that stupid that you have to restrict trades to one per PS3? You have the power of limiting us to once car per PS3, which you have implemented, but this also means you can restrict the trade limit to say 3 or 4 cars per PS3! Why was this not done instead?

It doesn't affect me too much, I'm the only one who uses my PS3, but I feel for the people who share their PS3 with others and they have to decide who gets to use the gift system each day.

^^This would not suprise me. GT5 is a race sim but it is also car Pokemon, always kinda has been with the number of models in game, even back in GT1.
