isn't the STI a specialty model from subaru?....so subaru has to realse a "special" model to keep up with the regular lancer evo VIII.....cant wait till the ralliart version is released

it's still cheaper than the STI.... $28,987 on the EVO VIII and expected $30,000 plus on the STI

1. Intercooler theft is pretty high around here considering the # of force inducted cars.
2. It's funny how you think insurance companies just hand out money for claims. Seeing as how my neighbor has gone without auto insurance for 6 years due to a 600 dollar claim

its a shame that doesn't happen in the UK, if something is stolen/crashed, the company fixes it for you then hands you your car back, you don't receive any money

STi is somewhat like what SVT is to ford, STi was made due to Subaru's financial fear that it wouldn't do well on the market, and it kinda...stuck around...If they would have dove head first into the STi project to begin with the Subaru Impreza STi would just be a "Better WRX" as apposed to an independant car...Sort of like the Lancer, and the Lancer Evolution.

1 it looks the best 2....600HP on a stock bottom end..not bad for a 4g63t..yes 600!!!...Imagine 600HP in a AWD car....imagine taking a corner and popping the clutch then slamming on the gas and seeing more smoke in 3 seconds than you will at a funny car race

I just re-read this article about the GReddy TT Vq35 350z...It's impresive/funny..Ok here's what's been done..it's a Vq35DE
Stock it makes 287HP
Greddy added the following
Twin TD05H 18G turbo's(relatively small)
Two Type S Wastegates(externam)
SUS turbo manifolds
Airinx Air filters
Prototype Type 23 Intercooler (core) dual evolution exhaust
440 CC injectors
GReddy E-manage system
and a PRofec E-01 Boost controller

With all these mods they managed to turn this beast at 287HP to 334.2 HP...It may not seem like alot, but they did it off of 5.7 PSI..that is what impressed me
