-> For me, GT5 has too much (trans) fat content. What I mean is that GT5 has too much needless features like glamourous menu graphics, animations, etc. on which it slows the loading times. Plus PD is taking too much time for glamourizing GT and tries to cater the high-end fanbase (3DTV, steering wheels, extra monitors, etc.).

-> If only PD simplifies GT in the next 10 years, the game would gain more muscle and deliver the best driving game. Case to point: GT1 and GT2.

-> Just keep it simple PD! Follow the (Colin) Chapman Logic, Less is more.

This is really where the complications came from in GT5, I'm sure. 3D TV, PS3 Eye, Mult-Montior functionality... **** that maybe 20% of the fanbase might use from time to time.

Should've saved it for GT6 or in a re-release (GT5 Spec II). GT5: Prologue had a better execution.

Unfortunately tho, I'm sure Sony demands that GT5 utilize everything the PS3 could offer. This game is one of many that not only sells the PS3 but could also sell all of the accessories, even other products. It's a pretty major staple in the exclusive lineup.

^ I would think it all started in GT3 (multi-monitor feature, silly animations, long loading times).

-> And I'm glad that the PS Move wasn't featured in GT5...

Pd using gt5 as a test ground for gt6 ideas. Then asking the largest independent Gt series forum about thoughts and ideas for the Gt series.
And employing more people across the world to scan and create the premium cars.
^^this is vital as certain types of cars are more common in different countries and that means more of a selection of cars from all over the world. From rolls royces and bentleys to the every day focus or astra.

^ My reply in color coded sequences:

-> I hope that serves a lesson of making the game over-complicated and short. :ouch:

-> This is a vague notion that PD is doing, and its a concrete proof during the transition from GT4 to GT5. And its very hard to tell on which forum PD REALLY listens to, I'm not saying GTP is completely ignored by PD but I'm just pointing out. :indiff:

-> This will never happen. As mentioned on other threads in the past PD (or SCEI) never likes to ask for help from a 3rd party company. Everyone in GTP nominates Proper Graphics (the company responsible for the Koeniggsegg CCX in GT5 standards vid in YouTube) to be their main 3rd party solution. But PG submited their work to PD just to help out, and PG got ignored completely, no slow mail/email/etc. :indiff:

In the next ten years I hope they wait to implement too many brand new features in the game. It's like they tried to make GT5 into GT4 when GT6 should have been more like GT4.

I always remember the odd numbered games a.k.a 1 and 3 would layout the base for which the game would be built and wouldn't have a lot of over the top things. Then the even numbered games 2 and 4 would add everything you could hope for.

I can't speak for 2 which I didn't play, but GT4 you had the crowd animations and more tracks plus other things.

I think both Kart racing and Nascar should have been for GT6 then again I'm on the outside looking in as I don't own the game so I probably can't say that.

3DTV wasn't their idea, it was Sony's. Steering wheels, well, what the hell?

Yeah..who needs steering wheels..in ten years we will kinect it all...but this time just thinking of it will make it happen. If you complain of inputlag then its you brain that is slow...

in 10 years id want petrolcars and not just electric cars in gt9.
an option to drive the game in my real car, my windshield turns to a screen. all this while the car drives it self on autopilot i can drive on spa. dont think its impossible :)

...and I thought I was the one with the wild imagination:sly:

The ideal GT6 game to cover ps4:

Alot of premium cars with big car packs at some point.*

All the tracks from all the gt games.

Only new tracks are rl ones including silverstone old and new and other high demand tracks.

Plenty of events including displacement limited races for example. Also to have new A-spec events added on once in a while aside from this 'seasonal event' stuff.

The ability to choose what spec your car is (basicly what engine size you want**).

Free roam on streets like he wanted (similar to tdu2 perhaps only gt physics/cars/graphics).

*Well ideally have every car thats been in the gt series so far including all those beemers on gt2, plus to have new cars to the game like the e30+e36m3, vxr's, etc. Another point about choosing the engine/spec i'd love to have the ability to buy my e36 323 saloon which would be possible under that system. OBVIOUSLY they cant make a million cars for release so why not release say, "90's european road cars" which would have old laguna's and old vw cars (Ofc have race car packs as well).

** This can lead to competitive racing because if you can buy a corsa c sri 1.8 then you can enter an 1800cc race, and think of all the cars that can have a 1.8 engine whether it be top spec or not. Same goes for 1.2's and stuff - or 2.0T's so you have vxr astra's and audi a4 2.0T's, etc.

Thats about it though inevitably i'll think of more stuff but i'm sure theres lots of bright sparks out there to add them for me! :sly:

All the cars there have ever been in the world, every track in the world (plus two on Mars), 4D TV compatibility (yes PD, time travel is a minimum requirement), a direct sensory telepathic link into your brain to give you that 'full immersion' feel... and a larger A-spec.

...and strippers!đź’ˇ

well the big question is GT6 on PS3 or PS4?
PS4 still doesnt' have a release date. Sony said on E3 that they are very happy with the PS3 position on the market for now, and said nothing about the PS4. That could be just tactics. PS2 and PS3 were launched before their Xbox and Nintendo counterparts.

The best asumption is late 2012. Now, that would give PD atleast 2 years of development time for GT6 on PS4. Considering the problems PD had with the PS3, I think that's not enough time. My guess.. GT6P not earlier than Q1 2013 on PS4.

...and more MX5s to start off, for beginners, aswell as a pig with four hoof drive and a horse honk. AND GET RID OF THE TOP GEAR TRACK! IT UNBLOWS!!!
