Why on earth have I just seen a van go onto the Nurb?

Because EVERYTHING runs the Nurb. I've seen tour buses before.

Nurb' is also linked to a public road, so many transport and logistics vehicles enter to travel on it.

Yesterday, only 50 minutes apart, I caught both the Audi RS5 and the Nissan GT-R prototypes.

OMGOMGOMG 3 GTR´s

And the track should open in two hours, and theres cars going in an out all the time... Odd...

It doesn't look like the testers care that much about people taking pitures and stuff as those 3 GT-R's where parked there for at least 20 minutes.

👍 Nice find!

And an old school Subaru Legacy wagon to top it off. :)

Later on around 5 o'clock there was a ambulance parked in front of those cars and left quite quickly after wards.

Phoenix Racing and their DBR9

I saw that lorry and din't know what was going on at all so I left it be but now I wish I had kept watching. :dunce:

nice aston

Bah. All I've been seeing for 20 minutes is a red Focus S-Max.... :grumpy:

Looks like the track is closed right now... :(

Wow, a Ford Probe in that pic (red w/white stripes). I didn't know that they were even available outside of the US.

Ben Lovejoy's trip-report from easter mentions SUVs, as well:

Nurburgring.org.uk
A group of off-roaders appeared, apparently after an off-road driving course. Led by a Landrover, they all did a very slow convoy lap hugging the right-hand kerb.

So I reckon it's something organized, where the trip ends in a convoy-lap? That Landrover seems to appear in the queue-picture, as well - the last of the SUVs.

And seems to me like that new Civic Type-R-R:

Nah, that's a Type R racer. no roof scoop.

Fine with me, and also seems more logical - the track is closed right now, so it might be a private session similar to the one the Aston Martin DBR9 had.
