Actually, it appears to be a Focus race car of some sort, perhaps even a WRC converted for use in the VLN.

In fact, I'm almost certain it's a WRC. I can just make out the "basket handle" rear wing.

Oh, so I'm not the only one who sees the Focus as a WRC-car.

I've often wondered how a car like that would do in an endurance race. Guess we'll find out soon enough!
