Alright, I have the answer to all the questions about oil changing.

Here is my story. I raced the Polyphony Cup with a fresh oil change. No pitting was necessary, I drove 10 races without an oil change or a pit stop. Pretty amazing huh? I think so anyway, sorry... So, the oil light came on at 189 miles.

Just to check it again, I am in the middle of the GT Championship. During the second race, I surpassed 189 miles. Once again, perfect timing, 189 miles, the oil light came on.

I do believe that to solve the oil light debate. I hope this hasn't already been answered in a thread, but I have kept a close check on the forum for about the last 2 months or so. I have only seen a debate about it, that's all. This is in miles, I am on the NTSC version naturally. I do not know what the conversion of 189 miles to ??? kilometers is..... :banghead:

But there it is.... 189 miles!!

:burnout:

Well bo selecta its 300 kilometres on the Pal version having a simmilar experience.

Boy netscape 6 is wierd :thatsodd:

It doesnt differ ive had this experience with many a car from my diny red civic to my panoz esperante

NETSCAPE IS REALLY ODD!!!

If you don't like Netscape, why not use something else?? I just got cable last week, so I seriously don't like 56K anymore. Yes, AOL sucks, and so does most anything else.

Try Opera if you can get it. It's pretty sweet!

Anyway, so 189 miles = 300 km huh??

It doesn't matter what car you use, how hard or easy you drive it, how much shifting you do, or anything like that. You get 189 miles out of the oil before that light comes on to bug you.

Good day people!! :burnout:

Oil Change, you know I've seen the light but never checked mileage at which it comes on.

Do you get an Oil Change in the pits? Cause I only go in the pits during Endurance Races , using Slick tyres in any other Race.

AOL Is Un-reliable, but they kiss your ass if you complain, I took free trial for 1month complained about connection then got 2 more months FREE..Sweet .

Netscape is supposed to be good. But Cable (broadband in UK) is really fast, my uncle has it at work and Web Pages load in a Second...Nice

Hey, if you can get it and afford, go for broadband. It is so much better. I am really enjoying mine.

The oil change is done at the far left of the main map screen. It is right below the Machine Test. The Maintenance Area, something like that, my mind isn't working completely right now. You can wash the car there, change the oil, and buy rims I think. Anyway, oil changes are good. Improves horsepower, so of course the performance is better, plus it gets rid of the oil light for a while anyway. Plus the nice bright green oil stick always makes me smile :D

I am getting real sick and tired of using 56K. I need to have a talk with my friend who works at an ISP that offers DSL. :D

I always hate seeing my oil light coming on during a race. Its always good to see my oil go back to green from brown when I finish a long championship.

I forgot the pic
