I'm 15 but I know what you mean I know I can be annoying cause I like to drift super cars like 458 and LFA's and have gotten in a few collisions but usually try to stay out of the way and I have came across 12 year olds who just need to get there $&@! together!

I only join rooms if:

1. The title has no reference to drugs, sex, or dodgy comments, like Zamado said.
2. There should be an active host. Everyone's complaining to change the track and the host would be gone for hours. :indiff:
3. Only a few mics at a time, no micspam whatsoever. Any frequent cursing drives me away.
4. If the chat is being spammed with explicit words or people being total half-wits that's a no-no.
5. No Lagging. AAAAARGH!

(By the way: 13 going on 14, started driving at four, and I drive extremely well :dopey:)

I'm actually a kid (sorta) but I don't have a mic, and in other games people think I'm 30....lol. I also try to avoid the kind of rooms you guys are talking about. I really hate those rooms.

My friend plays GT5 online and he is an idiot when it comes to clean driving. We are both in Middle School and he has no appreciation for the game. He treats it like a NFS game. He is OBSESSED with the X2011 and the worse thing is he can't drive the thing!! I switched to Shift 2 get away from him for awhile. I drive ok I'm not the best but im certainly not dirty or reckless. If I spin someone out I'll let them pass me or ketchup. I may be young ,but I'm certainly not stupid!! I don't swear and whine constantly. I absolutely hate the players that automatically reject me because I'm young, I hate the people that curse you out for beating them and the ones who get all worked up over something so simple!! You know what I mean???

Some kids dont realize that gran turismo does not equal need for speed, so they will often scream into the mic or drive terribly.
This. It makes me feel ashamed for being 14.👎

Off-Topic: I'm turning 15 on Sunday and guess what I get to do? Write an English paper! Yay! :banghead: I can't do it any other day either and it's due the next class. :grumpy: Still, some of you have probably had worse birthdays.

You should stick with racing with people on GTPlanet, as we tend to have a more mature group of racers. The problem with that would be the time difference and the fact that it just won't be as convenient.

I presume that you are all racing in NA Region yes? I haven't had any of that happen to me. I think it's only a matter of time though...:(

I may only be 14, but my God, it is a bit ridiculous seeing 17 year olds calling you a noob for saying you can't trade cars over 1 mil. That is normally followed by a complete bombardment of spam messages after I subsequently kick them out of my room for moaning and whining.

Some people, seriously.

I know this guy wanted my Red Bull x1 but I told him you can't trade over 1mil but he wouldn't listen and he cursed me out and kicked me.

I think we should, actually, stop with the whole idea of 'hating' kids as a whole. (I know it was me who started the thread).

But it's really not fair saying all kids are :censored:s

I personally don't mind kids on GT5.. My youngest friend on PSN is 12 and he acts mature.. As long as they obey the rules of the room like anyone else should.. That is all that matters

^you wouldnt happen to play mario kart...?

Kids are also easy troll targets as many of them dont know when to leave or give up. ive seen this quite a few times before and it usually ends up with 6-7 people trolling some kid with his mic on because he keeps claiming his dad owns 5 koenigseggs.

I am a child myself (14) but in my regular room I'm considered to be the mature one even though I am the youngest :)

But anyway, I generally find the trouble comes from kids with names like Xx-innssaaaane-scopezzz-xX etc. You usually find them complaining about how this games a load of horse manure because they can't drive and how COD is so much better. :/

Well, there are alot of people who are spamming the chat with immature comments.
Few days ago, I did a 550PP road car server with sport soft tires...
5 Mins later some player with a weird username (which ended with a 96) joined; I was driving a SL55, he the M3 GTR (Whatelse you think, most cheap people use that car at that PP range because its very easy to drive and very fast). I beat him by 15 seconds in the first race, then he asked "change tires pls". I replied "nope, this keeps retards from joining)... then he asked me to make higher PP... Then he asked me to change my car because its so fast and before leaving, he cursed something and continued afterwards via pm.

They just hide behind the anononymity of the internet. The same in FIFA online, whenever they loose they leave the game, when they score they do that stupid robot dance, they do cheap tricks and exploits etc...

Only way to fight them is with server restrictions to keep them off. Most retards won`t join a 575PP server with sport hard settings. Or a 60s Lemans race without ABS.
