Thats one hell of a shot! I presume you photoshopped out the huge metal bar coming from the under side of the car...

OH my God! a 2-Eleven!!!!!!

Here's stuff i took at the Autoshow '07 - Metro Convention and no editing was done. I have a whole bunch, but the batteries were about dead so most were getting the car rather than making it look good. So here Goes:

Artist Statement (yeah i like DevArt too much now):
I chose these pictures because i not only picked out the new and unreleased (at the time). I pick them because I had went beyond the subject matter and i included or incorporated parts that contributed how they were presented. For instance, in the Acura Concept photo, i used a dynamic angle, close up and got a good shot of the Acura logo in the back there.

yep and since it comes out of the underside, it is a million times easier to photoshop out than one thats stuck up on top with suction cups.

How did you set the camera to take it, if your driving the car? A timer or remotely operated, or am I just missing something completely obvious?

I'm going to buy a wireless trigger, but in the meantime i put the camera on a 30 sec exposure, and set the ten second timer, hit the shutter, ran to the passenger side and started pushing the car. You have to push it as driving it will cause too many vibrations.
 
I took this a few days ago using the camera on my phone (3.2MP) and I thought it turned out ok.

well I couldnt wait for my 40D to come in, so I borrowed my 30D from the guy I sold it to (my buddy) and we took his car out for a shoot. I must say I think this set is the best yet, can't wait to show it to you all =) hopefully tomorrow night =)

Oh also, for the first time I realize how critical good monitors are to how we view things, I just bought a new monitor and have it right next to my old one, not until this moment have I realized how bland and dull my old monitor was. I should have invested in a good one a long time ago, if you haven't I highly suggest it!

working on it, ran out of time that day, plus his car is a bit on the low side so putting on the rig takes a bit more work, but I'll get some taken soon =)
 
No HDR methinks, just a CPL.

Quality shots skyline, not a huge fan of the "car looks like its leaning" (3rd bridge shot) wide angle shots, but still quality 👍
 
Anyone ever heard of Boogie? He takes the most awesome urban photos you can think of, spanding from architectural photos, to hxc drugshots and prostitutes. This guy's legit.

Probably not totally SFW.
 
Hell yeah, I've always been a fan of boogie. He's a major inspiration. I love the raw feeling behind his shots, they always feel authentic and beyond all the artsy fartsy critique ****.

Skyline, clean shots. I would clone out the distractions in the corners though.
 
Is it me or does everyone ignore my photos, I know there not very good but you could atleast give me tips to improve...
 
I know it's hard when you're doing panning shots, but try to go for a better composition.
