Welcome to the picture caption game. Each week a new picture is posted and you are free to caption it for the next 7 days. Obviously the aim of the game is to post the funniest caption to the current picture,(using text or editing the image itself). You are allowed 1 final entry, and this must be clearly indicated should you post more than 1 caption. Please try and keep your final entry in the first post that included a caption you made after the picture was posted!

At the end of the 7 days, you may then vote for the 2 captions you found funniest. Each user is allowed 2 votes, but you cannot vote for the same user twice, nor can you vote for yourself.

2 days ago, contestants on Japans newest game show "grab the silver spoon" were hampered by a coal avalanche thrown in by the shows producers "for a laugh".

Today the race really got going as one contestant (center) took a clear lead by getting his shoulders above the rubble.

Viewers are hoping for an exciting finale in 2 days time when the first contestant is expected to break free...
