Hello mates, after 8 months I got it!

This is the drive of my life! GT5 really changed me, and I'm so thankful to PD to release such experience, not just a simple game.

I got the Platinum but I still have to run the 24H of Nurburgring to get it 100%.

I got the platinum on 77 days or two months and a half.

From 12/17/11 when I got the game to 03/03/11.

I played it nonstop during holydays through January and got the Standard Gold, and I was satisfied. But then, when all I got left was B-Spec I gave up on playing, It was until lat february that I decided to go crazy and grind the B-Spec, to get the trophies I was missing.

I still have left the B-Spec Nurburgring 24h race. But I ain't gonna bother with that. My original fatty PS3 got fried during the platinum proccess and I'm not gonna leave the new one 24h straight turned on.
 
7 sec away from my platinium trophy.

4.5 secs on the Suzuka - Vettel, and another 2.5 sec on the Nurburgring - Vettel
 
I've just got my Platinium Trophy - 29.07.2011. I spend around 7 months on it.

Platinum....... finally, "air of experience" took so long. I feel like screemming!! My tenth platimum. Do you need proof, because I'll be more than happy to provide it. :D

Finally got platinum this morning :D after spending less than a week on S. Vettel Challenge. Took 6 months, from mid February to mid August after my ps3 was stolen with my first game save on it back at the beginning of February.

Oh my...that's a perfect GT5 save and what I'm aiming for. Congrats.

Need only The Air of Experience and Car Collector trophies for platinum.
So, I'll be here in less than a week.

Also joined the Platinum club over the weekend.

Still need to do the 24 hour A-spec enduros for "100%" in game, but I won't be attempting them unless Polyphony add in-race saves.

Lol, I've been at 99% since early February or late January. Took me six days to do Le Mans, it's difficult for me to find the extra time. I have yet to even go back and gold my licenses, still the way it is from December, only tried them once.
 
Platinum at last!
The Air of Experience was such a pain...as soon as I got it I proceeded with deleting all 6 B-spec drivers I had.
It's unbelieveable, I completed B-spec with 207 races, In the past 6 days all I've been playing on GT5 was Sunday Cup Tsukuba, horrific experience!

Here is the picture proof:

It has taken me 7 months using sixaxis controller throughout - I will get a Logitech G27 soon though.

Thanks mate... It does, and it is not for the faint of heart... or slow. But yeah, i feel now that i have mine it will pick up pace and you'll see 100+ ppl on here by gt5's one year anniversary(i think PD should buy all platinum trophy holders a GT-R, since they love them sooo much!.. i'd rather have an R8, thought i'd settle for a Miata, since they love those so much too).

Yeah, i feel you dragon.. i was at 98%:sly: in early feb when all my stuff was stolen:tdown: outta my house while i was hard at work :grumpy:... and on this save i've been(was) at 99% since mid to late April. Only recently i've found motivation to do the final push(<1%) to get platinum(Eiger, S. Vettel, Drift Trophy, Air of Experience Trophy, GT-R @ Nurb Trophy). I actully had fun doing the 24hr races on the soonest off day(did them straight through with maybe a 4hr nap and 3 or 4 hrs of help from my gf) i could find(did 4 a-spec 24hr races total, this save and last). Hardest part was 2+ days for Eiger, less than a Week for S. Vettel and lastly the endless and frivolous b-spec grinding needed for the air of experience trophy(2+days at sunday cup tuskuba) after I ALREADy Had 6 level 40 bobs(i obviously need MORE B-spec exp, huh PD!?) Basically i shoulda/coulda had my platinum in early March:idea:.. But quite a feeling to have it at last:tup:!

Big congrats GTRoadRunner!.. Air of EXP is/was BS(read above):irked: Total waste of time after all in the game was beat and i had six lvl 40 Bob's. I deleted the one i used to get the trophy as soon as the trophy chimed over(and created another Bob and got him to lvl 40 in 3 days)
