I made 20 bucks at the indian casino video poker.

Good work, ever play any real poker at the casino? Also what's up with "Indian" casino's? I always hear American guys mentioning them, is there any difference to a regular casino?

In a lot of US states, gambling other than the state lottery is illegal, but Indian tribes are exempt from many of these laws on their own reservations, so Indian tribes end up building casinos inside their reservations and people drive to them to go gambling, since it's illegal otherwise. Hence the "Indian" casinos.

I'm not the gambling type. The difference between Indian casinos is that there's no tax and smoke everywhere.

Okay, my poker story is a small one, and a short one at that.

I played blackjack with my buddy a year ago and won 10 bucks. Never played it again.

I had 18 and decided to stay, my buddy had 19 and decided to hit, and went over 21, thus winning me the 10 bucks we bet.

Ok guy's, Its that time of the year once again when the World Series of Poker is upon us.

I know it may be a long shot but is anyone hear planning on playing any events?

Main Event is set to take place on Thursday the 7th of July, 2011, $10,000 Buy in with more than likely one of the smallest fields we would have seen in a while, Value?

I wont be going this year because I suck but will be in vegas come November.

Also, we should get an online poker or euchre room going for GTP. I'm not very good at poker, mostly because my friends prefer playing Euchre (probably my favourite card game), to poker, so we don't play often.

I got private rooms set up on Pokerstars.com, I am able to adjust stakes & game types pretty easily.

If theres enough interest (more than 3 people) Ill post details and start putting something into action.

Lowest stakes I can Set are 0.01c/0.02c for cash games and $1+ 0.10c for tournaments.

play money is also an option.

**Not sure if US members will be able to play due to Department of Justice doing its thang for online poker.

I was thinking somewhere we could play for free though, it's not that I'm apprehensive about betting a dollar, it's just that I don't have a credit card or any way of paying for online poker.

EDIT: Derp. "play money is also an option."
