What is a good target time for Fuji GT? I ran for about 15minutes and managed a 1:34.125 clean. Definitely time left for me in that lap.

And also, on GVS is the concrete runoff after the S-bends count as the track? Are we allowed to use that?

I'll have a shot a Fuji GT to give you an idea of where you are within the team but correct me if I'm wrong, I think we've already had the race at Fuji so practicing for Fuji is pointless.

Oh dear, it seems that I have made a classic mistake . I thought that it was the 20th of July, and I was getting a bit worried because I thought I missed nearly all the events but it turns out that today is the first day of August. Sorry about that.

yeah fine.
Shoe, you are racing, and I'm going to be the reserve driver.
you are roughly 2 seconds faster on fuji per lap than me.

Here are my lap times I've set so far. These are all solo laps (no drafting help) and on RM tires.

Fuji GT- 1:34.125
GVS- 1:48.570
Nurb GP/F- 1:58.104
Monza- 1:46.636

I haven't had time yet to run at Suzuka. And each of those laps can be made much quicker. I will be offline for the next week. Keep practicing and I'm curious to see how these times rank against the rest of the team. 👍 happy racing

Wow that's blistering quick. 👍 I will make a Fuji specific setup later next week and see if I can push to those times. I've just been using a generic setup for all my laps. One question. What speed are you hitting at the end of the straight?

I wasn't really looking at my speedometer, so I won't make a false statement, but I'll tweak my setup, go back on track and give you some readings asap 👍 . For setting up your higher end gears, it's best to leave some room on the 8th gear to allow for drafting.

You need about 1000 extra RPM left in your final gear for drafting if anyone is looking for optimum transmission setup 👍

To update on my progress, I've improved my time on Fuji to 1:32.9, and my max speed was 183 mph while almost hitting the rev limiter when I'm about to brake. I could definitely spare a few RPMs for drafting though.

Since I'm quite fast, does that mean I'm competing in the championship? I got a 1:32.9 on Fuji.

I was getting 183 mph before needing to brake, but this is because I'm running high downforce.
