Is there ANY way to make the stupid baby song go away without having to mute my sound everytime I'm in the lobby? Does using your own personal BGM affect the pre-race BGM in any way?

I may have been able to endure it for the past few months, but I don't think I can endure this for years on end. HELP!
 
Yes not only that but you can adjust volume for BGM in various lobbies through the option menu.
 
Yeah I love the one song that sounds like 5 little kids singing, and it takes about 30-40 secs before they start singing. Love that freaking song. Hate the elevator music though

it wont work in online lobbies where the host has enabled voice chat.

Wait, so does this mean I have to disable all the menu BGM in the game to get rid of that song? ...and personal BGM doesn't work in lobbies with voice chat (this seems very bizarre; I want to be sure I am not misunderstanding you)?

Pah, I like it. I disabled my BGM long long ago though to get rid of that god awful GT Life music. Since I haven't played it out, it's probably why I like it so much.
 
Disabling all BGM is the very first thing I did on day one. For some reason BGM in a racing game annoys me. The only time I turn it on is if I'm going to do an endurance race. And when I do it's my own music.
 
I usually play with the sound very low because I play at night. About a month ago I started using headphones and realized how much I HATE this song! Now even without headphones the minute that song starts it's ALL I hear....pure torture. Why would they put such a LAME song in the game... I know what I want for the next update.
 
I never have BGM in a race but it's always on for the menues so far. It's dumb you can't turn that song off. WTF
 
I am sick of it. I want to the functionality to control ALL of the music library so that I COMPLETELY control the soundtrack for ALL areas of the game, PERIOD!!!!!!!
 
omg that silly baby song drives me insane, it's frustrating that I can't just take that song out of the loop when it seems every other classification of BGM is free for the user to include/exclude.

Every time it appears it's a race for me to get out of that screen before the infuriating singing starts.
 
I made this song my wife's ringtone because she absolutely cannot stand to hear it. I don't really care for it, but it doesn't bother me.

Also, I acquired the GT1 and GT2 soundtracks and used those folders for my GT5 BGM. Very cool retro effect.
 
I really think that the ability to use custom music is really cool!

What I don't understand is that we have to hear the bloody default tunes in the lobby, used car dealership, and the tuning shop.
They might be be kinda okay initially, but after you get above level 20 you have heard them more than enough. :sick::yuck:
