I cant believe there isnt a thread for this yet. Yes the title is spelled wrong and if you saw the movie you would know why. This is a very very inspiring and emotional movie. For anyone that has struggled in life to pursue a dream then you have to see this movie. As always Will Smith did an excellent job. He also has his son in this movie. 👍 👍
Anyone else see this?

I, um, acquired the movie and have been meaning to see it but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm usually not into dramas, but I've heard very good things about it. My girlfriend keeps bothering me to see it because she thinks that it will make anybody get teary eyed, is this true?

Plus, I was reading about it, and it says Dan Castellaneta (aka the voice of Homer Simpson) is in the movie, and even buys a donut at some point.

Without spoiling anything, I have to admit I got choked up and teary eyed at the very end. I tried to say it was just dry in the house but the girlfriend knew better. lmao
And yes Dan Castellaneta is in there.

Yeah I figured it would be an emotional one. Well I'll post up what I think after I watch it.

It also has several very funny parts that really help break the tension. A couple made me laugh extremely hard.

It was a pretty good film, very well acted and quite moving in parts. Not the most inspiring film I've seen by a long shot, but it makes you feel for the characters and does the job well enough.

I'll probably see it just because Will Smith's in it - he's the man.

Yeah agree he is the man. Will Smith is one of my favorite actors. I dont think I have seen any of his movies that I didnt like. 👍

I thought is was a little over-rated. Sure it had a good message and story, but it was basically Will Smith running around the whole time... running to catch the bus, running to the shelter, running to beat down the hippies (can't blame him ) ... throw in a tear or two and all of a sudden he's nominated for an Oscar!?! ... maybe I was in a bad mood when I saw it :grumpy:
I'm not saying it was a bad movie, I just think it's not as great as everyone thinks it is. I'd give it a 7.66/10 (the extra .66 is because the movie had hippies being chased around)!
