The rarest car you've driven/been driven in?

I've sat in a 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S, and my Dad's 1998 Range Rover 4.6 HSE V8 I've been driven in (a lot of times).

1967 Plymouth GTX is probably the rarest car I've driven. This isn't the car itself but it looks just like it minus the stripes.. So much fun to cruise around in it.

Probably my friends dads Ford Mustang GT '95. Imported from America to Japan and the finally to the UK. Might not be rare in the states but certainly a rare treat in the UK.

The Smart ForTwo Electric Drive is fairly low production too I think, no more than a few hundred cars, and I've driven one of those too:

I have driven that too and nearly flipped it because I was testing how fast it would corner around a roundabout:dunce: It was the only prototype in the Netherlands.

Besides that I haven't really driven in rare cars I think. I have driven in an Audi S8 V10, a Skyline R33 GTS-t, a Skyline R34 GT-T and Ferrari 360 Challenge.

I sat in a Lamborghini Diablo when I was very little (the owner was afraid I'd puke in it) and about a month ago I sat in a 2012 911 Carrera (991).

I lived in the middle east for 9 years (Dubai and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) and I must say my butt has sat on a lot of rare cars

Top 3 rarest I've sat in
1. Mercedes Benz CLK GTR Supersport (This exact one, except google tells me it is silver now and in the states)

2. CLK DTM Cabriolet Street version

3. Ferrari Enzo

Been driven in without a doubt my friends Ferrari 599 GTB which was in a rather nasty brown and silver colour scheme. To be fair though he got it used :sly: and his brother's Bentley Continental GT Speed. They were from a very big and rich family in Saudi Arabia that own a lot of companies which explains the crazy cars  Oh and the Ferrari owner was 18 and the Bentley one 19. Crazy country that was but at least they drove it quite sensibly!

The rarest car I have driven is a 2003 Audi RS6. Only 860 were imported to the USA and how many have been wrecked or sent back over to Europe since who knows.

It's a tie between my dads '69 Mustang coupe, my grandfathers 1960s something Le Mans, and a 1969 Malibu (also my grandfathers). Not super rare at all really, but fun in there own ways.

Being in the UK, driving a '65 Ford Mustang convertible was an opportunity I don't see coming around again. Going to take something else pretty special to meet or beat that, for me.

I got to sit in a pair of Corvette ZR1s that were in the dealer's showroom while my parents were buying a new car last year. I remember that one of them was lacking most of the wheel bolts, which I was told was for anti-theft reasons.

There was also, inexplicably, a brand-new, never-driven Cadillac Allante dating from 1993 on the showroom floor as well which felt really neat to sit in. When I asked about that one I was told that that the owner of the dealership 'would let it go for the right price.' No idea what price he had in his mind, but I liked the Allante more than the Corvettes...

Ferrari Testarossa. Although, the clutch is heavy as hell, steering as well, gearlever was from a van and interior from a Fiat..

A supervisor at work couple of years ago gave me a spin in this car:

I never got in the car but got real close to it. A Corvette C6R. It was taken last year at the Baltimore Grand Prix.

Oh, I've seen a Pantera too. It was in quite a poor state, figures right?

Yea, I don't think I've ever seen one on the road. My dads friend used to own a black one that was in nice condition and I got a ride in it.

Rarest thing I've ever seen on the road would probably be a Ferrari 365 Daytona spider.

Been driven in (though only really trundled around a yard): Lamborghini Countach 5000S

Seen (on the road not in a show): Ferrari Daytona Spider, Ferrari 512BB, Enzo Ferrari, Lamborghini Espada

Have also had a ride in a work colleague's Caterham 7 R500 Superlight, not incredibly rare but very cool :)

A local business owner took me around in his Mansory DB9. That was quite neat, although I wasn't a fan of the body kit.

I have driven my Grandfathers 1957 Chevy Pickup... One of very few which are as original/true to 1957 as it is. God that was scary...

Funny how the title says "rarest car you've driven/been driven in" and the OP also says "rarest you've seen." Well...I'll forget that little issue...

Driven: Rare? Pfft, nothing but the usual bunch of average cars. Camry, Ford Escape, Nissan Rogue, Toyota Sienna, etc. etc. Yeah...

Been driven in: Not really that rare, but uncommon enough...? For Maine that is. A 240SX coupe fitted with an S13 Silvia front end. Not something you see often on the roads here.

(My friend's the one who owns it and the 240SX hatch is his friend's)

Seen: U.S. spec TVR Griffith 200, aka Griffith 200 here. Only 192 ever sold in the United States. Such an awesome sight watching it blast down the highway with a 911 996 Turbo. :D
(My picture...at least I can provide one. Thought people would at least bring some of the actual event. :P)

Update to the rarest car I've driven: Mine.

Standard WRXs are a dime-a-dozen but my CSE4 is one of 300 made for the AUDM.

A 240SX coupe fitted with an S13 Silvia front end. Not something you see often on the roads here.

A friend of mine took me for a spin in her Sileighty replica too, in return for me giving her a drive in the 'Rex :D

I think they just take old NASCAR Sprint Cup cars and detune the motors a bit.
