The rarest car I have ever touched would have to be Ayrton Senna's McLaren MP4-4. That and Nigel Mansell's Williams FW-12B.

rarest car i've been in is a brand new corvette 427 edition convertible, not too many around . I haven't really driven anything too rare, I'm not THAT lucky.

The rarest car i've been driven in is a 2001 Subaru Impreza STI JDM special edition of some type, there were/are 2 in the UK.

Forgot some other rare spots, although "rode in" is of more note these are interesting cars:

Jensen SV-8 (20 made)
Peerless GT (325 made)
MG RV8 (2000 made but a very cool car!)

I only have pics of the Peerless, the others were before digital cameras were around or at least commonplace, and the cars in my previous post (other than the R500 which I have pics of) were during the 80s!

Since I'm not sure how many FX16 Corollas were made, I think that the rarest thing I've actually been in is my dad's '91 Porsche 944S2. Only 510 in the US and about 3100 in the rest of the world.

Uhhhh, did you take this picture? If so, that car you saw in the background is rarer than any of the others you mentioned. 1 of 1. Look up 'Ferrari Breadvan.'

Is that open wheel car in the backgrond the Life f1 car? my dad told me that car was really slow

Well, once I was in Los Angeles, a cousin rented a Lamborghini Aventador and I drove it in a neighborhood at low speed, once in a life chance

Right, I was on vacation in Detroit and had the experience of a lifetime. I drove a 1952 MG TD. In the rain. With nonfunctional wipers.

Rarest I've driven was a Diablo SE30, #27 out of 150 only 25 in the US only 6 are red.

Rarest I've ever seen was the one of a kind Jaguar XJ13. This is not my picture, but I was at the same event the car was at.

I do not have a car licence only a motorcycle.

As for rare cars I have been in, well not hugely rare but one was a Sierra Cosworth, 500bhp and the other was a Lotus Elise Sport 135. My mothers Partner had a Pug 205 which would be considered rare now and a modded Ford Capri in Gold! lol.

Apparently my dad once owned a Lamborghini Miura before I was born, was given to him in a debt, he held on to it for a week or so after driving it a few times. Story goes the gear stick broke during his time using the car and then he sold it for £16,000. Did not get the chance to see or be driven in it!

Still fairly rare, considerably more so if it was an RS500 (modded)

I suppose you are right, not exactly sure the exact model, its is my Step uncle's car but mint. He also had a 3.0 Capri before (Step father gold Capri step uncle green Capri), it featured in allot of car magazines but was written off when he was rear ended. A real shame.

I bought my dearly beloved a Supercar driving experience for his birthday this year, and while we were at the event I had a fast lap in a Gallardo Balboni. Only 250 ever made.

It was phenomenal! :)

The rarest car I've driven is a Saab 9000 A50. An anniversary model that was made in '97 and I think around 700 was made.

I test drove a 1980 RX-7. I didn't buy it because it needed shocks, struts and bearings which I don't have the money for. If I had a better ob I'd have taken it as a project car, the fact was I just can't afford a hobby car right now. I wanted to buy it yeah but I didn't.

I can't think of the rarest car I have driven as most of them have been mass produced Japanese or Australian cars. Rarest car I have been in is my brothers 1998 Version 5 Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA Limited. Number 584 of 1000. He won't let me drive it.

I was in an F1 maybe 7 years ago didn't drive it of course at the Tire Rack headquarters in southbend IN. it was a track day so people were aloud in the building , my dad took me along with the rest of my family, and (not sure which is more important) sat in an original shelby cobra, fully restored with stock aluminum body and stock frame, gorgeous car and loud and fun to ride in haha, couldn't believe how low they were. The crazy thing was it was at a garage in Tennessee, and we drove past dad didn't see, I told him he slammed on the brakes and pulled us back around, the owner was their we got to talking to him and 20 minutes later we each got to take a ride haha.

My neighbor growing up had a huge collection of Corvettes. He took me for a ride in his lime green '91? Callaway Speedster twin turbo. It was the first of only 10 built. Top speed of 212mph if I remember? I'll find a pic when I get to the computer.
