Brilliant!

I don't like it either, must be a boxer engine, would have good aero as low frontal area and good COG, but FAIL otherwise.

How long's a piece of string?

The Imp dates back to a time when mpg figures were never really tested for or published. From what i can see from a quick google, a 875 Imp could be expected to get you 35mpg. Of course, the car in question could be lighter, it could be much more aerodynamic, it could have a higher state of tune engine, it could have totally different gearing - so who knows?

Good points. 35 mpg is amazing. I'd love to have that for the car that sits in my drive waiting to be fixed.. Sadly its american muscle from the 60's and gets about 12 mpg. :guilty:

I've heard of this car before a few years ago, was quite impressive indeed. But they are gonna produce this thing? :odd: Wow, but would be cool to drive it somewhere to show off.... heck, you could even part this car at placed you wouldn't expect.....👍

that's difficult to do. the CG is lower than the tops of the wheels. Formula 1 cars might be tho only other cars that pull that off.

Sadly? If you're worried about the mileage then why'd you get whatever car you have in the first place.

I think it's pretty cool, but the 'jet' seems pretty pointless.

The vehicle in my driveway is a hand-me-down, its my dads car. And honestly, I was curious about the mileage it gets just to be curious.

It's not a jet, it's a flamethrower exhaust. Why does everyone keep saying it's a jet? It's not exactly hard to do, and it's not nearly as pointless as the rest of the car. But it is nearly as cool.

I don't think anyone is in the wrong for wishing for more gas mileage, no matter what they drive.

I wasn't saying anyone was in the wrong, even I wish my car could get 30mpg.

The only reason I said anything was because the way he said it sounded like he was disappointed in having a muscle car.

I can't believe so many people are hating on this... must be one of the coolest builds I've ever seen.
