Who was the famous Elizabethan author in Deb Lister & Arlene Rimmer's universe - and name two of her mentioned works.

Enough? What was wrong?

Anyway..... Pleace recite space core directive 39436175880932/B :D

You spelled "Rachel" wrong.. :D

"All nations attending the conference are only allocated on car-parking space."

And I spelled "allocated" wrong!

In "The End" what does Rimmer fear will happen if he hasn't fixed the Chicken Soup Dispenser properly and an officer uses it?

Surely spelled isn't a word, would spelt be better(?) ;)

How do you two know so much about Red Dwarf?! I've been reading this thread for ages, but never know anything about what's being asked, and i do watch RD quite a lot.

"Spelt" is an Americanism. I refuse to use it except in quoting it as being horrific...

Keep trying... :D

Same here, when I tried to learn French I forgot how to drive!!!

It's something blomonge, Black currant cordial, milk and two sugars! :D

I'd say DQuaN got that.
Its blackcurrant cordial with blancmange, 2 creams and a sugar.

Oh, and not to be picky, but one of Kryten's gifts wasn't a resistor, it was a microchip, an alpha-sim modem. ;)

Buy the DVDs. I'm an American and used to watch it all the time on public television but they don't play them anymore so I am buying the DVDs as they become available. I know most of the answers but always come in too late.

:P Oh well. Is a bit of a shame that we're losing our language's uniqueness, as all languages are nowadays i guess.

Riddle me this (but please excuse any mistakes, i cannot guarantee that this question is 100% valid).

What was the green stuff sitting in the back of the cupboard that Lister ate?

Ok, i'll throw one in.

In meltdown, when Lister first tries the matter transporter, where does he and Kryten end up. And what did Kryten do wrong to make them end up there?

Ah drat, i'll leave this game alone, need to watch more RD first. It was swafega, but.

Red Dwarf SVIII
LISTER: Anyway, I was worth it then. I even finished off the advoca. I even downed that smeg-awful pink stuff from the back of the drinks cabinet.

RIMMER: That was my windowlene, I must have left it there when I was cleaning the glass.

LISTER: Well it tasted all right with that chartreuse, green liquory thing with it.

RIMMER: You drank my swafega to! Your unbelievable.

In the shower - he neglected to engage the depth function (or "z" dimension... I forget).

Yup! I had trouble remembering as well!! But it was the shower and the depth. They were in the right place but the wrong floor! I forget what word he used for depth.

Give us a Q!

According to Todhunter, how many times had Rimmer put Lister on report - and on what charges?

247 reports total.
139 counts of insulting a superior technician
39 counts of deriliction of duty
84 counts of general insubordination
and 1 count of mutiny!

Todhunter "Mutiny, Lister?"
Lister "I stood on his toe!"
Rimmer "Maliciously and with intent to wound!"

Take the disc out of the player. Open the window and breathe some fresh air...

(and yes, it's ironic that I'M saying that)

Your go :D

Just so happened I was next to my PC which is connected to the big hardrive with dubious quality RD episodes on when my BlackBerry buzzed to let me know you'd posted a question! No DVD disc involved!;)

Here's another one....just checked through all 23 pages to make sure its not been asked before.....and then I'm going out to get some fresh air. Well actually to get lunch, drycleaning and a pressie for the missus' birthday, but it involves being outside! So it may take a while for confirmation!

While dining with Sabrina Mulholland-Jjones, what does Lister have for dinner?

A sausage and fried onion sandwich (on white bread) and a glass of (warm?) milk. Specially helicoptered in from Luigi's Fish N Chip Emporium...

Back again.... Close enough to give you Famine; your go.

It was sausage and onion gravy sandwich (on white bread as you pointed out!) with a glass of sterilised milk. (Technically it was probably cold, but since you have to get milk warm to sterilise it in the first place, then warm is probably OK too!!!!)

Luigi's Fish'n'chip emporium, an artist beyond compare.....

Damn... :D

Hmm. Done the irradiated haggis question...

How many years does Rimmer get sentenced to (two answers possible...)?

Hmmm also done the first part of the sentencing question before too! It must be near bedtime over there!

How long is Rimmer's sentence, initially, for the manslaughter of the entire crew (barring Lister) of the JMC vessel "The Red Dwarf"?

9328 Years.

Not sure about the second answer....have to think about that & get back to you!

Aha! Had a think for all of 8s! And it came to me.... he gets an 8 year (in the end) PD sentence after kicking "Captain Paxo" in the groin! Initial sentence was 8 weeks PD.
There's probably a whole other sentence for him in series VIII too, but I'm not that familiar with that.....
