hey hey hey...ricers ruin the image of japanese cars for everyone but japanese cars are not the only ricers out there.

OK THE REASON I DID THIS WAS TO EVEN THE SCORE BECAUSE TONS OF PEOPLE IN THIS THREAD TRASH ON IMPORTS AND CALL THEM RICERS. THIS JUST PROVES THAT THE JAPANESE ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES.....EVERY CAR MANUFACTURER HAS CARS THAT MAKE THEIR TYPE OF CAR LOOK BAD AND THIS PROVES IT!

I had the ricer flyby happen to me alot when I lived in Houston. The funnyest one was one night when I was comeing home from a poolhall,and being a sat. night there were racers everywhere, anyway I pulled up to the first light and sure enough a little civic hatchback(not a SI) pulled up next to me and raved up. I would of raced him but I had been drinking that night and cops were all around that area,so I looked over at him and shock my head no. The next thing I know the light turned green and he takes off, I still cant figure out why he did it but he hit his N2O. All I could do was laugh my azz off at the idiot. :lol:

rice is good whenever it makes ur car look faster and has the engine to go with it, i.e. a wing on the back, and lowered, maybe with some tint. but if ur going to go over the top, u have to be like that guy, and make it so ott that its hillarious!

Well you dont really understand. When someone calls another car a Ricer, they are reffering to a bad Japanese car. Not just a japanese car. If its a good japanese car its not a ricer. BTW, that last pic of the Camaro, I think that is a stock hood a just the Ram Air Version (unless they guy ripped it off the SS)...

I used the term "ricer" because I couldn't think of another term for all the crap on the cars.....what would you call a bad american car?

I got the flyby all the time when I had my MR2. It looked completely stock on the outside. People would do the flyby, I would just sit back and let them feel cool. They would see what I could really do on the strip.

oh, the brabham car, i am familiar with that. rumored at 1500hp, ****ing a. The name you mentioned just didnt register with me. because I knew BMW has only won a championship once, with piquet.

But yea, Ive heard about the s14 being a derivitive of their f1 motor also. not sure if it was the one they used in 82 though. i think it is half the engine used in the m1, where the m1 engine was 2/3rds of the f1 motor.

I just got back from my first weekend at the track with this car, and it is heaven racing the car.

Alright, not all bad japanese cars are called rice. Its just a name for Japanese cars.

HAHAHA....that thing about the 911 reminded me of some guy in a convertible that flew past me....I was tryin to figure out a way to get back at him when I pulled up to the light I looked over and he was sitting there looking all smug with his girlfriend...so I roll down my window...wink at his girlfriend...smile and say "whats up ho?" and drive off....we were laughing so hard I had to turn arround because I missed my turn...
