I guess that would help! What numbers are you looking for? I drive with all aids off, no ABS etc. it's stock from the UCD. Just tweaked the downforce a bit, don't really know anything about tuning.

LMK what numbers you need and I can grab me for you. Thanks!

Just give the PP and what tires. :)

For an average driver id say around 5:40 would be a good lap.
For advanced driver its under 5 minutes.

I guess my time isn't so hot then. Gotta get back out there and practice!

PP=899
Tires=Racing Soft

Pretty sure it was the full 24 hour course, but I'm not 100 percent on that. Are there any things I should do to the car to make it handle better?

Well I'm guessing those 5 min times he gave were on the shorter configuration of the track.
So if you were running the 24 hour that does improve your time a bit.

Yes it was for the 'ring, not the 24h 'ring. :)

Yes, def the shorter track. Lol @ 5 min times. Mine were 6min 38 secs, which is apparently pretty bad. I thought since I beat the AI's in a level 24 race I was doing pretty good. You guys are on a totally different level than me driving wise it seems.

The AI likes to take it slow and steady, they aren't really worth comparing to.

Don't be disheartened by those that are faster than you, take it as inspiration.

Looking up to people and aspiring to reach their level is how I got to where I am today and it's how I'll progress from here on out, there's nothing wrong with people being better than you, no matter what world you're in :lol:

@ vinniecap - I give ya points for even taking that thing on the nurb. :lol:
About the only place I ever want to take an FGT is Fuji or the like. :lol:
I never finished the Monte Carlo race in aspec. :crazy:

What I would say is drive slower.
Better to be steady and on the track than right on the edge and in the shrubs every few corners. After a while push it a bit more and steadily increase the lap times. I think slowing down alone should get you under 6 min.

👍 Very true.

Perhaps the question to vinniecap should be - is your best lap a pretty clean lap?

Because it doesn't matter how fast the car you're in, if you spend any time pointed in the wrong direction. :lol:

Just losing the line all over the place is a problem in ANY car.
