Great race all. Nothing like 4 wide avoiding a couple of crawling DP cars on the last lap. LOL. Sadly the Chevy caught the grass and overshot the hairpin. Would have been a good 3 way battle till the timer hit 0. Nice win damu.
My first 2 laps were disasterious. Totally off. The first caution was nice. Then got back in the groove. Looking forward to Spa next week!
Can't wait for Spa next week. I've had many laps around that track and have enjoyed driving the Nissan in particular around it so it should be fun.
Edit: Tryed it out with the specs listed, oddly its actually easier to drive with the HP down and the weight where it is. Not sure if this is required for a one time drive like I'm doing but here's my entry just to be sure I'll be there:
Everything's been going very smoothly. No controversy=no arguing on the threads. We're becoming more and more civilized. Plus all the banter is on Skype and Facebook.
I took the time to run a few laps with the "car of the future". I was running low 2.14s there at spa with stock setup at 601 horsepower and minimum weight. That's about 4 seconds off of what I'm running in the Sauber right now.
I was running stock d/f and I was just kind of making laps rather than trying to push the car at all. I'm sure 2.12s are more than possible. I'd bet we get down to 2.10s or 2.09s easy before it's all said and done next season.
ill work on them tomorrow... I'll need a break from studying for mid terms!
