If you honestly think Chip would retire a car thats competitive and has nothing wrong it just for something like fixing the brakes on the other car, you're out of your damn mind.

I agree, both cars were very quick.

The #90 Corvette now has a problem with the exhaust again, this time it seems to have done damage.

Starworks has throttle problems. Chip must have a remote for the 2 car as well :p. This 24 is the most frustrating one I've been to. Grand am really screwed up the rules. I'm watching the Bmw pick up 4 (or more) car lengths from the exit of the bus stop to the start/finish.

I knew this from the drop of the green flag. If Sahlen had drivers and better luck, they would be right with ganassi. Dane Cameron was right with the 02 at the start. The shank cars are the best handling through the infield. If they had the juice on the high banks, it would be a great race.

Well, the next race should be better after some changes to the BMW. Circuit of The Americas should be spectacular!

Grand-Am would be foolish not to change anything. The BMW is crazy on the straights, and COTA has the F1 DRS straight.

There's fluid in t1. Cars are going everywhere. I'm surprised there hasn't been a caution. DP race is over. The Bmw has to be going 10 mph faster in the front stretch than any other DP.

If they do it will probably end up being something that will make no difference at all. Oh well, at least it looks like the GT finish will be exciting.

Hopefully just -300 RPM would do it. On TV I can tell the BMW isn't 10 MPH fast, but it is for sure quicker. Seems like we're doing some of this fuel mileage junk 👎

I HATE fuel mileage races...
 
Gt finish was excellent. This is second Rolex 24 I've left very disappointed. The other time was when the flat 6 Porsche out ran ganassi due to horsepower alone. I don't like it when one car make is obviously waaay better than the others. Nonetheless, the gt race more than made up for the DP abomination. I am glad Alex job won gt. GX was a decent race until the bgb car had trouble. I'll have pics up and I'll have a few vids on YouTube tomorrow.
 
I can see what you mean, GT made up for it though. I feel so sorry for the Rum Bum guys too. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics/videos!
 
It was just so poised, kept it perfectly close on the inside just shy of the normal line, and the speed and careful throttle control made the whole move look like something out of a textbook.

I did something similar there on Damu last season when Ant swooped by us and I used his draft and that line, but unfortunately there was a clip and I was sent off into the gravel. Still, it was nowhere near the same quality.

For sure. No fighting this time! It's definitely set the bar high for season 4!

Again, I need to know if any GT are switching to DP. Draft will start tonight for Gt.

Awesome. I'll stay in DP next season. No fighting was so great. I think we've got a great group of people.
 
So you have final specs on the R390 Road car? You going with 550hp still? Thing is extremely fast with 500hp, I think you'll be faster than this season's DP class.

Actually, we're going to be giving 611 HP a go at the spot race. Since DP is a 'spec' class, it won't be hard to change the HP if indeed it is too fast.

This post will be edited with the GT draft order. From there, I will have a list of the cars, and just write your name under the car you'd like!

I'm happy with 611. Still racing mediums as well as no tc. I'd like to rum no abs but that's a little tough for some of the ds3 guys.

No doubt no ABS would be a interesting race, but it's a bit tricky for the DS3 guys.

Also, manual transmission should be a requirement imo. I have no clue how many people it would affect though.

You can't set that as a option :ouch:

It would be cool, but I wouldn't want to make a 45 minute race impossible for someone because they can't use manual with their Ds3.

I don't think that changes anyone's settings anyway. I think everyone is good enough to use manual with the ds3.
