No, If you think im drifting this car, you are wrong. Im having a huge problem and the more I screw with my settings it get worse.
The car wants to spin and it even wants to spin with the ASM and TCS on. ( I never drive with them on. ) How do I stop the car from spinning, I wanna turn this car into a real racing beast. Not a drifting machine, thats right a Racing machine. Can someone help me out with this, even better help me out with the settings.

lower the rear damping of the car, give the rear some more chamber around 2.5 to 3.0 , decrease the fron chamber to 1.5 even to 1.0 add a little negative toe to the rear (I believe negative toe) and raise the front of the car 10mm more then the rear, that should get you started. :D

I would start with this setup, I use it on all FR cars as a default tuning point . . .

Springs F = 6.8 R = 14 - 16
RH F default R dropped 10mm from default
Bound F 10 R 10
Rebound F 10 R 10
chamber F 1.5 R 3.0
Toe F 0 R -0.5
Stabs F 3 R 5 - Loosen the rear if you are still oversteering
Brake balance - F 22 R 22
LSD 5/5/5
ASM 0
TCS 0 - 2

this is a pretty good starting foundation, but if it is still oversteering decrease the rear bound and rebound, increase the F spring rate. increase front ride height. also learn to use that LSD :D

Also, by "learn to use that lsd", miata is talking about turning up the lsd on your car so you will get less oversteer. ;)

Thanks Kent, good looking out :D man I need my fix of GT3 so bad right now. . . It has been over a month now I got a quickie in a few days ago. . . :(

On the note of limited slip work...

If your oversteering problems are occurring as you come out of turns, then the Limited slip differential will help you greatly. I learned that lesson just recently with the diablo at appricot.

Should your problems be related to getting on the gas out of a turn and then major oversteer, try turning up your lsd on the accel and initial sides. not decelleration Decell is only for the pro tuners to work with...I mean no insult in that as I will be quick to consider myself at best a novice in tuning.

Anyway. Turn up your initial and accell. lsd and you may get some great results coming out of those turns. Hit us back when you get some results.

Later.

Btw.
I think the spring rate thing was based on your (miata) reffering to the rear spring rate in a setup as 14-16. (roughly) You were suggesting starting points for rear spring rate.

Miata just meant to use a number somewhere in around the 3/4 high mark of the slider for adjusting the rear spring rate. Good luck again. bye. :D

I think I got a good setting on my S15. My old time at Laguna Seca was 1'21.??? and I did one last night and it was 1'18.9??. I think I got one good. But the oversteer is still there.

Will you please post your setup... I may be able to tweak it with positive results for you.

Just post when ever... till then, later. :D

Yea. I busy playing The Simpson's Hit & Run and Dragon Ball Z:Budokai 2. I'll post it as soon as I go back to GT3, which will be soon. Let me have my fun, and I'll PM the settings for ya.
