The SL (R230) Backlight Bug

Did u see that...



As you can see, the upper left backlight isn´t flashing, doesn´t matter if you hit the brake or not and which type of SL (R230) you choose...
Maybe it´s only in the PAL version i´m using...

I've noticed this before. I think it's the fog light, like TomCat mentioned.

You want a light glitch? Look at the Subaru Legacy which has an oddly lit part on the corner of the rear light. It's been there since GT3 and annoys the hell out of me, especially now that we can take photos of cars .

Hm, that could be, but i haven´t seen any other car in GT4 that has its rear fog light turned on...

yes i meant that, but i´ve never noticed any fog light on any other car with its front lights turned on...

i don't think its a fog light...a proper fog light (if they bothered doing it) would be much brighter.

its just a bug, PD ain't gods.

yea im running off PAL and the backlight bug is there
i thought it was just the brake light

I noticed when doing a few laps on Opera Paris (can't remember which car, im sure it was the SL500) when not braking hard, only the top tail light, and bottom two main lights came on, then braking harder caused the top two lights to come on.

I'll try and recreate it now and get back to you.

[Edit] I think it was Seattle actually, hmmm!

Nope! Although on Seattle I just got the same bug! Top right red light on. All the rest of the lights are on...interesting...I have the PAL version also!

fair enough it's strange but really not a big deal to me, we can spend ages ripping at the game or simply enjoy it's finer points. I know what i'll choose.....

Good man I feel the same, I just noticed the light thing that happened once and thought I'd put a little input in

The BMW 1 series does that aswell. If you press the brakes gently only 3 lights come on, if you slam them all 5 light up. I think it's just a safety feature on the real cars to tell the people behind how hard you're braking.
