Great, hopefully there will be a few of us. HELLRAZORS time to beat is now a 1:07.2xx, and he thinks he should be good for a 1:06. I will open the romm around 7.30pm
 
I'll be out with my folks tonight as its their wedding anniversary, and i'm guessing you'll be all done before I return? (after 10:30) :indiff:

I will be around until 9.30ish, as one of the kids is staying away for a week, and I was gonna spend some time with Mrs3210.:sly:
 
Great practice tonight gentleman. Clean from my point as always.
Hope my pace continues tomorrow and that I don't run out of luck.
 
Mega practice tonight gents, I am sure that this race is going to be so much closer than Laguna.

I saved 3 replays on the medium tyre, results as follows.

After the mediums, we were left with 4, so we ran 2 races on the hard tyre.

I also captured the pic from the last race on mediums, where Goodwolf won by 0.001 over me . 1 thousandth of a second. Although it does look like I got the win. Thanks for your time tonight gents. Race you tomorrow.

Yes it does. But I watched closely and our times of the last lap as well. I was quicker by .4 and the start finish line is in the wrong place. It should've been placed almost bellow the lights, so remember this guys for tomorrow.

Just did an 06.8xx on the med tyre :)

Good racing peeps!! Enjoyed it.. Jim you have great pace.. The slip caught me off guard when following you and I just couldn't run my lines.. :(

I think I made a bad choice by pitting on lap 18.. Should have eeked a few more laps from the med tyre..

Still a podium in my 1st race was nice.. See ya's next time :) 👍

Well Grand Valley seemed to give us better racing than Laguna did. Really enjoyed it, and it was so good watching the different tyre strategys working well. Great result for KOR_HELLRAZOR on his debut race. Heres the Podium. Full results will be posted tomorrow.

Want to add that the event was very nicely organised and everyone seemed very fair.. 👍

Was a shame Luke (not4a4) had connection issues.. Hopefully he can make it in the next one.. Have to spend some time adding the upgrades for next race and tweaking my setup. :)
 
Fantastic racing gentlemen, as always! Was great to see pre-planned tyre strategy in effect. The new tyre rule does the job. A warm welcome to Dan who showed great pace and congrats to Jim for another win. I've had great fights in this race and loved every lap. Cheers.
 
Well, having viewed the replay several times to get the data needed for the tables, it was great to see some very close battles during the race. Jim and Dan, Goodwolf and Hasslemoff, Cobani and Dan and myself and Omnius. It was also good to see the different tyre strategys, and how they played out. This was also evident in the starting grid. We had 12 starters, and after a false start that saw complete carnage on the start/finish line due to Not4a4's invisible parked car we regrouped on the track in the order of qualification and started the race. Itwas a shame that Not4a4 could not rejoin, and I have given him a couple of consolation points for his efforts. We had 3 cars retire, for which there will be no points. Here are the results. (Please note that the total race times were taken by watching cars over the finish line. I usually take a pic at the end of the race, but didnt last night.)

Looks great, nice work Ade.. 👍 I fitted some upgrades and ran a few laps at Tokyo rev earlier.. Good fun and really sticky on the soft tyre. :)

Thanks Dan, was great to have you join us, and good to see you are getting some early practice in for Tokyo. This will keep the front runners of the standings on their toes, and with JIMFTR being absent from the next race, the next table will look very different.

Omnius got past early in the slipstream, only for me to have enough road left to catch his slip and get the advantage into the turn.

Cobani maximized the medium tyre and moved through the field to close in on Dan for an epic battle. Orange vs Orange, Mediums vs Hards.

Lap 31 and Cobani catches Dans slip and gets past to take 2nd place.

That was fun to read! Nice to see an overall picture of the race, Ade. The battle with Dan was indeed epic. 👍
 
Just a quick time check for race 3 Tokyo R246 reverse. A short 15 minute stint gave me a time of 1:49.4xx tonight. Loads more time to come off, and I can see where. I think that Dan has done a 47, in a short practice:crazy:

46.3 so far bud.. I'm sure 45's are there for the taking.. I'm still learning the track :)
 
Please let me invite you all to the Zero Cup, with season 2 starting in just a few weeks. For this season, there will be a recurring car: the Caterham Seven Fireblade.
Note also that we will have cycles of 3 weeks: 7 Cup, Zero Cup, break (or practice)

Only 1 week until race 3. I will get some practice in during the week, and hopefully get my time down a bit. Please feel free to post any times you have done. We should also see the return of Rosnlundaren and Third_reign for this race, so although Jimftr wont be racing we should still see a busy grid.

With the upgrades to choose from and Tokyo being in 'Reverse', I'll need to tracktime to. I will be on tonight, although I don´t know what time.

That is a shame, as you are 3rd in the driver standings at the moment, but not to worry. With Jim absent aswell this week the driver standings will be really mixed up after this weeks race. With Jamesy dropping points after the last race, Cobani may well manage to stretch out a healthy gap at the top of the standings.
 
After a session last night I came down to .49.xx. Once. I'm stable at .50-51.xxx.

A bit annoying and frustrating that I'm not finding the speed through the corners that I'm sure of is there. :confused:

Love the track, though! :) 👍
