This is the best answer, by a long shot.

I believe that it's still the quickest rally car. I could be wrong, though.

I almost forgot that it was a rally car :D. Thanks for reminding me.
Also the Suzuki Alto works. Purely because i owned one but somehow they managed to ruin the feel of it and performance from GT3 to GT5. :indiff:

@smoking. Hmm, odd. I think I "selected" some of my text and then didn't "re-insert" it in my orig reply.. My bad as I didn't have my complete message in my first post... Sauber is only disappointing not equaling "junk." Sorry all.

The early iterations of the GTR...the R32, R33, R34. These were monstrosities in the previous games, but now they have been severely toned down. I don't think any of these cars go over 600 hp fully tuned.

R34 can have over 700 HP in GT5.

I just think it's dumb there are races dedicated to standard cars. Either make the Formula GT a premium car or allow other F1 cars in the race series. This goes for the truck race as well. Not dissing on the game I still love it but come on how hard would it have been to render one less Ferrari F1 and make the GT one premium...or make it an F1 race in general instead of only GT.

I guess they have to sell the idea of standard cars being cool?

My thoughts exactly.

The problem with the Escudo is the X2010. Everything is slower once you race one of them. (just look at everyones time for Le Mans and the Nurburgring)

Escudo in my opinion is still in the top 5 cars on the game, but like the FGT it's been a bit underwhelming compared to some of the newer cars.

If it's so great, how do you get it faster than about 210mph...?

210 isn't fast enough for you? Lol. The fastest I've been IRL is about 190, on a bike, and that was pretty damn fast.

lol IRL I've had 3 R1's and 2 R6's in the last few years and had my racing license with CCS/ASRA in the SouthEast region. So +1 on the bike!

Unfortuantely, the Escudo is great off-road or on courses where top speed isn't an issue, but there's an awful lot of cars that can blow by it on a straight packing quite a bit less than 1000+ hp.
In the end, it is what it is, and compared the other cars in my garage, its not worth much to me.

I understand. And that's awesome, true blue huh? I had a 2001 YZ for awhile, god I miss my 2 stroke... Ahh I can smell it now..

And I do feel you on the escudo, I honestly don't even know if I have it in my garage lol.

Heck yeah. I also have an 02 RM250... that 2-stroke is a beast!

It came up in my UCD I think and I was all hyped up and bought it. I put it on the track and was like, WTF? Put it on Indy to try to tune it for a better top speed and no such luck. I'm thinking the garage sized wings are to blame...

Nice bike, Gotta love the dirty deuce! 4 strokes are reliable and all but ain't nothing better than a two stroke lol. The smell, the sound, the power, light as a feather. Mine did me dirty one weekend out at Busco Beach, NC. She started going through plugs about every 2 hours lol. Granted I was riding her all day all weekend, but I had to carry a socket wrench and extra plugs in my boots! Lol. Had to get her rejetted. No biggie. But ya I sold her due to deployments, what I wouldn't do to have all my toys back. So suffice it to say, IM JEALOUS.

Nissan Skyline R34... it is still an awesome car, but only gets up to 797 hp, when it should get close to a 1000.
