At last year's German Grand Prix, Martin Brundle said most of the drivers were bored by it, because they spent most of the race either going in a dead-straight line or through a chicane.
So by that logic, couldn't they ditch Monza then? All it is straights and chicanes with Parabolica and the Lesmos being the only real interesting corners.
I still find it funny that the closest and most exciting finish in F1 history was on the old Monza in 1971, which was then castrated by chicanes the following year, ironically preventing another race as such.
