Originally posted by Arwin Yikes, another place to keep your times up to date. Good thing I don't run them TTs as much. But I reran and improved a couple of them a little while ago, so why not:
I just downloaded Jeans 1.20.3 TT1 to check out the sectors and i know my 1.20.5 was wasted now
here's our sectors and totals ..
24.687 / 47.924 = 1.20.543 - me
24.721 / 48.100 = 1.20.322 - Jean
I'm up by nearly .2 at T2 and finish over .2 behind at the line , that run should have been a 1.20.1 that last tunnel needs full commitment and it's a horrible bend to nail under pressure
I'll keep at it on and off and maybe hit my target 👍

I've done your total ... I also notice we have exact same times on TT7
Sorry I missed this! Just in case, I always run Wingman FF and MT. That TT7 time was run in Simulation Mode, still am impressed by it honestly because I ran it in January, when I just started this online thing. Must be a wheel thing I suppose. Anyway, now I'm starting to do stuff in Amateur mode and that really is a lot easier and more forgiving for these TTs.
I can get under 1'22 all the time, but I'm not yet under 1'21 I did improve a slight bit: 1'21.351 and that was with a T1: 25.1 ... (I've seen 24.8 like most). There are other spots where I know how to do better, so a sub 1'21 might just be possible. Have a lot of catching up to do though
Ok, so I did some more work on TT1 today. At some point, fairly soon actually, I got a T2 of 48.5 and I found a good line, then I hit a 1.21.1 with a T1 of 25.1 and I know I'm getting there. So I'm busy trying to improve on that lap with a better T1, and at first I have a hard time even just matching it, but then after about 30minutes I get a 24.694! You could see how that's way up on my previous best time, and If I could have finished it perfectly I'd be up there right with you guys, with a 1'20.6 or 7. But of course I'm so shocked by that time that I know I screw it up, so I just concentrate on finishing the lap and pray I finally manage that sub 1'21. I could see my ghost creeping up on me in my rear view mirror and the adrenaline was rushing to my head, but the ghost regained .3 tenths, no more, and I got me that 1'20.921. New goal will be a 1'20.6, but that will have to wait.
Thought I'd give TT1 a try with the wheel ... it's nice and easy until last tunnel bend took me ages just to finish a lap as I kept locking the steering ... anyway I did manage to get a new time of 1'21.575 and it's got a really poor last sector so I should be able to take another .5 maybe depending on that 1 stupid turn
Same to you - you're only two tenths of where I was yesterday.
Yeah that's a damn hard turn to steer into properly with the wheel isn't it? Have you tried adjusting the MoMo's wheel lock to a smaller steering range? That should help (the Wingman has a smaller lock anyway, just slightly over 90 degrees each way).
I tried out your calibrating idea Arwin and it's good! feels a lot better on that last bend I didn't lock it once... thanks 👍 only had a few laps with it though, next time I get the chance it's going down!!!
