Let's keep this going, I'll get to work on TT3 after awhile, did a few laps last night, already beat ya Mr P, 1'57'603 :fdevil:, time a plenty left, I'll see what I can do, I'm on :fire: ya know.

BTW... Here's an awesome tip for TT10, it has to do with the first corner. For NTSC users, here's how I do the 1st corner. I watch the speed. I brake hard after the speedo is above 163 MPH and just before it hits 164. You might have to brake a little earlier depending on your skill level, but if you do it right, you can nail the braking perfect and ride the rumble strip to have an awesome start to your lap.

PAL users will have to figure out the exact speed, but it's works. Just try it.

I've managed to go through the first chicanes/zigzags at a higher speed than jb's vid, though that does not mean I'm quicker. i got a sub 47.3 once or twice for the first sector

My PB at T1 is 46'792. That run also gave me a PB at T2 of 1'54'513, and T3 at 3'04'294, but I screwed that run in the corner after the uphill slalom. That run was even better in the slalom than my one in the video too. :shakehead: I hit the brakes too late, I was travelling with higher speed than I'm used to, and I slid wide on that hairpin. Haven't been able to match that, but someday I hope I can. 😈

if you break a bit early and gently for the downhill sweeps you can come down from the top of the hill 2-10 mph faster. i've come done at over 110, maybe 114.

my t2 is usually at 2 min, 1:58 is about my best. t3 about 3:10.5-3:11.5

But if you do it right, you can jump and land on the beginning of the incline of the next hill too. If you do that you'll drop down to about 107 and stay there if you hit 3rd immediately. At the top of that hill you can shift to 4th again. That more than makes up for the time that I lost in that particular run.
