I cant wait

I just hope I'm still alive to witness you beating my time! With my old age and everything I may not last :skull: :rip:

Just consider this, 3 people in the world have posted times under 3'10 at Complex, only 1 proven. And that's my time under 3'05. ;) I take that back, I've got a 3'08 in an F094/H and a 3'09 in an F686/M as well. (My old 3'06'968 with the F094/S can be found in MPEG format in the videos section on this site)

Only 1'17 at Grand Valley 1. 😈

I could go on, but it speaks for itself. ;)

Wrong JBS, Magic has a 1'17 Grand Valley lap, and I think Magic is better than you unless u can do 1'06s at Monaco.

I can't wait 'til the replay verifier comes out and that's proven to be a hybrid. ;) You honestly think that's not? The replay was turned into MPEG by a guy who posted a 53 at Apricot (doable) but not in an F686/M. Add into the fact the guy seems to have forgotten he did it, and posts a 53 over at GT3Times in an F094/S.

That's the type of stuff you look for, inconsistencies. That's how REIGNBLOOD got caught.

Plus, if these guys were really that good, they could put up at least 3 records a day with little effort like I do. :P

All I've got to say is, when the replay verifier comes out, a few people are going to be caught. ;) Reputation doesn't matter. :D Even if the program was written by a bias person, the only way it could be cheated would be to check filenames. All you'd have to do is change the filename and bypass the bias. Or if they decided to use a mark in the save, that would be caught eventually too. People like me like to debug apps that aren't mine. ;) That and the fact I have a custom built app that hooks into windows and tells me every file access/read/write etc. that happens.

I won't write a verifier, cause I don't know the exact format of the file. But I know how I can write a replay integrity checker. That would prevent marks in the saves. 😈 All I have to find out is where the replay data actually begins and ends. (if they put a mark in that data, really stupid, cause I'll watch the replay. )

So for those that do cheat. You're days are numbered.

Yo JBSchumacher! I'm not doubting wether or not you can drive, I'm just saying when you get around to beating my Time Attack times give me a shout and I'll be back with an even quicker time.

As said previously I'm not interested in posting fastest lap times for every car on every possible track combination. I'll leave that to the guys with too much time on their hands. (quite literally speaking  )

What I do like about the Time Attacks is that everyone is on a fairly even playing field (with exception to controller type) and because you've got to stay clean on the track or you fail. There's no advantage in having a better setup than someone else, so IMO it's a good, fair representation of how fast you are.

That's all I gotta say on the subject and we'll let the times speak for themselves! ;)

Well said. PAL has advantage though, can turn off ASM. As for controller type, less horsepower == advantage wheel. Higher horsepower == advantage DS2. This being due to the fact that a wheel has finer steering control than a DS2, but at higher speeds it becomes harder for the wheel to keep up because a DS2 can be swung back and forth alot quicker than a wheel.

This contributes to why guys like Arco, and I believe you GVX stick to the time attacks and arcade stuff. ;)

Come income tax returns, I'm thinking of getting me a MOMO, but I'll only use it on cars less than 600 BHP. Because I know the advantages of both. :D

So unless you're the flash, a wheel beating a DS2 F1 time is probably zero to none. Or any fast car at SSR11 or Complex String.

Seem to have some people who could do with a touch of modesty and humility

Well said Ryp, I have told him that myself over at rl.org but he dont listen, he's as arrogant as they come.

hehe jbs is in da house again

*jbsmodeon*
Arco, Flinx, czsimo, Magic, Morelli and probably me would beat you in any OLR.
*jbsmodeoff*

But hey, keep it cool :P

Are you boldly challenging a guy that is near Wiese's time at TT10 with the regular DS2?

Jean's nearly just as good as Arco Talentless, Jean knows what he's doin.

I have no doubt.

Still it is impressive what JB can do with the sticks, he and Chan.

I also am sure you are better than me, Zero. Work on your times 'cause I'm 2 places up at Racin-line. 59/61.

though to be honest 59 is not the most brag-worthy position

Sorry to burst your bubble James:

Zero says:
he thinks magics monaco is a hybrid
IforceV8 says:
its not
IforceV8 says:
i checked

Is there any real difference in either using the DS2 or Wheel?

Both move as far as you want them to (either by small thumb movements or by small hand movements).

First post at the planet is sponsored for my mod mate :D

The difference imo is that you don t have to steer on the straights with a pad. Only accelerate and brakin. For example the two first license test B1 and B2 you ll lose alot of time there with the wheel cause it work after the start the whole time. So its easier to be fast in slow cars with less power and a pad. And i m sure most of the wheel times can be done faster with usin a pad. Less fun but better times...

I prefer the wheel, cause i love the corner drivin with FF Wheels like the momo or the normal ones and give a bull**** on top times where i have to work for without gettin paid ;) And as jbs said and you re quicker with changing the direction and its very hard to spin while using a pad.

btw Guten Tag Zero

Sad that my ps2 is down and i can t participate the next time in any OLR s till the laser is fixed and the black box back in my hands :(

Guten Tag Rod

glad you made it here what took ya so long Have a great stay, and get that PS2 fixed man:cheers:

Man i just went back and did TT1, I was amazed at how slow I am at it, 1'24:(, so i guess I had some skill back in september when i did most of these.

Laps and short races - possibility. One shot enduro you don't stand a chance. ;) As I've stated before, I don't care about laps and short races. :P I only spend a max of 45 minutes on any of them anyway. If I can't get it that amount of time, it ain't worth doing. :P Exceptions are made very far and few, only when I'm sure it will come with a few more minutes/etc...

Here's what you do. Take a Tommykaira, fully tuned with super slicks. Go to free run for 3 laps, no more, to get a setup for SSR11. After that, you get 2 laps for qualifying for the enduro there, the warmup and the qualifier. One run at the enduro and see what time you get. That's what I did. ;) If you do more, you'll know for yourself that you can't beat me.

1'26'56'210 is the time. One run, with 5 laps before hand learning to drive the ZZ-II on super slicks at SSR11.

Good luck. ;)

Because zipped it's 111KB, so I can't attach it.

Deadline if you choose to accept, is 6PM tommorrow night U.S. Central standard time. (Prevent long runs at this, ensure you follow the rules. ;) )

Replays REQUIRED (X-Port or SharkPort only), email them to jschumacher10@mchsi.com

That gives you approximately a little less than 19 hours from this post.

My replay is on my website now.

And of course, no blatant wallriding and no hybrids. Although the latter can be verified now. No cheating whatsoever - No gameshark, NADA.

EDIT...

Replay removed from website so noone can steal my setup. It will be back at 6PM tomorrow night. ;)

Take it to the following thread. http://forums.gtplanet.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9245

Heya boys ;)

Had some more attempts at Time Attack 1 but came away empty handed :(

With more guys coming in from all over the place it looks like i'll have to get my butt into gear  (heya Rod)
