You only get one shot at qualfying, so expect to see a few next Friday before the Swifts.👍

Oh.. Glad you said that :)

Guessing as they will have the same BHP and weight it would be down to driving style and drivetrain

From the guy who actually started this...

Over 1 lap, Honda, but it requires a skillful set-up to get it's race pace to last.

Mazda over race distances tends to be generally strongest, but its size can work against it.

BMW is VERY strong at Nurb GP/D and whilst a little slower, is way kinder on its tyres being RWD.

-.- the Honda is good because of the speed but its fwd, which is bad on tyres
Mazda is 4wd so good for start but i don't like 4wd cars
Toyota and BMW are both rwd and no one is Toyota so maybe......

Gotta get one so :sly:

Put me down for this. Don't know which car I'll use yet, but I have them all (and 2 of the Honda's colours). I'll do some testing later and let you know which I'll use.

The Lexus is a sleeper. Poor in corners but a rocket on straights.

I need to do some testing as well to optimize my car, can we only use the Hard tyres?

Why do we have to do the quali lap in a 3 lap race? Can't we just do it in practice mode and the save best lap?

What about the Lexus, same as the BMW?
Lexus is awful from what we've seen, although it hasn't had that much of a run in TOCA.

Toyota isn't in this, and I believe it was 4WD as well.

As for the Honda, I remember finding it in the UCD moments before my first race and getting pole within 20 minutes so it is really fast, but awful, with a stock tune at 1100 kg's, on tyres, luckily my tune combats that on the first page.(It could be second page to non-premo people, I have 40 posts a page)

Edit: Just getting all nostalgic and read through the end of Season 2 where DK had won the championship and I had got my first win ever. Boy has that changed.:trouble:

And you're in Joe.👍

I also have 40 posts per page, and 30 threads per page.. And I'm not premium.. :O

Anyway, justify yourself as to why we have to qualify the way we do.

3 lap race? So if the lap is marginal we can save the replay and check if they used the run-off...

So, can we do it in practice mode and save best lap then?

Online and offline have different physics though (main differences are that offline times are slightly faster, and cars are looser/have more oversteer online.[and you can't flip online]).

Goes to trail mountain in online to try flip a car. :sly:

I didn't bother testing the cars in the end. I'll take a Mazda. 👍

I'm joining you now :)
