The track Eifel "were is it"?

Heya, i just completed the new sessional events, and the last EX-7 event had a track called Eifel, and i just loved it, but i have never seen it before, and i cannot find it in practise mode, does this trac excist in the game at this time anyone?
 
It looks like it was made using the course creator. Therefore, it won't be anywhere other than the Seasonals.
 
It was made using the Course Maker as 'Eifel' is one of the settings you can use when creating a track, but it can only be used in the latest Seasonal races.
 
In the RX-7 Seasonal did anyone else see the AI showing off their drifting skills on the first lap? :sly: i outdid them :P

OOOOOOOh yeah ! After the first two right hand corner's, going into the first left I crested the brow to see an NSX Type R and a 300ZX 90* to the road with smoke everywhere.... I split them and then showed them "how to do it" into the next right hander :) great replay saved :)
 
I'm guessing the terrain is meant to be in the Eifel region of Germany, the area where the Nurburgring complex is located.

Yeah; I was pretty entertained by that. :) Not often you see the AI make such blatant errors in driving. :D
 
THE REPLAY!! :O of course how did i forget .... looks so good going sideways between 2 AI cars struggling to stay straight :sly:
 
I have to admit, the AI in the RX-7 event was pretty crazy. I had to avoid two cars spinning out at the same time on the first lap :crazy:

On the seasonal race, I have seen the castle on the picture, but from the opposite perspective (ie. The other side of That hill)

I didn't have to wait for a seasonal to figure it out. I made the connection a couple months back when the game first came out. Anybody spending any time with Course Maker would have noticed what looked similar to Castle Nurburg, as also seen in the background when running the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Suspecting the connection, I looked it up and indeed the Nurburgring and Castle Nurburg lie within the Eifel Mountains. I've had the castle plainly visible on dozens of my Course Maker circuits since the game was released, sometimes coming up fairly close to the castle.
 
If it's messing you up, it must be bad.

I wound up throwing a big assed boyracer wing on it which seemed to do the trick.

Exactly... but I guess people have either heard of Eifel or they haven't. Some people probably thought it was to do with Paris's copy of the Blackpool Tower :D (and yes, that's tongue-in-cheek...)
 
I currently live in the Eifel region of Germany, 45 mins from Nurnburg. And yes it looks just like the game. Lots of hills and no Sun. Overcast most of the time.

I thought it was fictional, but before thought was in France, because of the Eifel Tower lol

I noticed. A black NSX was buried in a cloud of some. I went through the smoke, but before I knew it.... BOOM! Left a huge mark on my red paint. :grumpy:

It's scripted. I redid it several times and each time there was a crash at that location.

I agree, it's scripted on all of them I think, the GTR event in the first set there was always the same car losing it in the tunnel every time I did it. On topic eiffel is a theme in the course creator.
