Hi guys.

What does the trip counter measure? I've been trying to work it out for a while now. Obviously, there are two sets of numbers that are marked on your dial. One is the odometer, that gives total distance driven in that car, and the other one, according to the GT3 manual, is the trip counter, that gets reset every race.

But what does it count? I was racing the Toyota GT1 around the Test Track, and by lap three or four, the trip counter was already reading 170! What is it?!?

Basically, brother, that tells you how much mileage you have done every time you drive the car for a certain time, the total mileage is then collected, that is why it gets rested. I think the units are miles.

The units on the Mileage Meter are Kilometers in the PAL edition of GT3. I have no Idea what the trip meter is measured by. Its definitely not milest though. In a real car you usually reset the trip counter whenever you fill up with petrol. (well thats what I do anyway)

yeah your right cuz if you race a new car the trip distance and Mileage stay the same. I cant beleve I forgot about that (too many high mileage cars)

But in the PAL version its Measured in KM but thats not a bad thing thats a GOOD thing :D

Yeah, "170" is actually 17.0, not 170. So 364 would be 36.4.

17.0 sounds a lot more reasonable! The dot must be very small, because I've never seen it! Cheers guys
