Hello, so I was having this idea for quite some time now and let myself be inspired by @Yassi_99 thread of Nordschleife hot laps (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/street-cars-lap-times-nordschleife.381734/)

The idea is:
Pairing STOCK cars against each other, or even forming bigger groups of cars, which are essentially equally fast, but come from different classes and thus often forming "unlikely rivals", like Honda Civic Type R (EK) with an 8:34,962 vs. Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with an 8:33,493 and ultimatly race them against each other. Ever expected them to be equally fast? Yeah, thought so... ;) Now what makes it even more interesting is, that buildung pairings going strictly by achieved lap times, you often get quite underpowered cars battling it out with real power monsters like for the example the Alfa Romeo 4C (7:59,634) vs. the Shelby G.T.350 (7:59,927). While pairing the rivals I also did take into account, that the lap times were driven by different drivers. I know the theoretical limits of the cars and am quite sure, that all pairings are really close to each other.

I just find the idea of racing such pairings against each other interesting and exciting and would love to organize some races based on those pairings/groups. Who is with me!? :dopey::gtpflag:

Obvisously, I also made a list, from which we could choose, to have some awesome races! (I also would like to read about your suggestions and ideas for pairings and groupings!):

Gr.X Pagani Zonda R (6:52,123) vs. Gr.X McLaren P1 GTR (6:43,398) = yes the P1 is much faster, but also much harder to drive. Some players would be faster in the Zonda instead, so thus, they become a somewhat equal pairing.

Please make some suggestions regarding when you would like to race in a lobby and with which pairing/grouping.

That's one hell of an idea (considering the wide spread of laptimes within each N group). I would be in for every battle but if I had to chose one, it would definitely be the N300 JDM race :)
