You guys make it seem so taboo to use NOS. Although it is true that it's just cheap horsepower in a push of a button, to use nos in GT4 Drifting (in real life too) still requires timing, and knowing exactly what your torque band is at any given corner in a drift. We're not talking about just pushing some buttons to get a faster acceleration rate. It's one thing to push a button while going down a straightaway, but squeezing mid drift? It's hard.
Kazama Yasuyuki uses NOS on his Kei Office S15 in D1GP so he can minimize the torque drops mid drift..
I still agree that drifting can still be done effectively without NOS, but I don't see a point in despising it unless it's used in straight-line driving.
