EDIT: or like Azuremen just said, you could hover over it.

Hover would be good :)

But the premium, mod and quality logos should really stay as they are.....

Well, I think that could do both at the same time. Let's say I had a premium badge visible, and no other badges. The premo badge would be full size, the way it is now. But if I had a quality posts/guide editor badge as wel, the premo badge would be shortened and the QP/GE badge would be reduced to a little 16x16 box.

Currently, those boxes are 21x21 pixels... which is the default height for the indicator bars. What you suggested is a good idea Duck, would just require more image loading and a bit more coding. Not much, been when you are running a site this big, it could be problematic (I'm not sure on how Jordan handles coding, etc here)

On why the Quality post and Guides editor could be shrunk, I feel, is that they aren't as important as the Admin, Mod, GTp tags, and well, you see that green check box, you'll figure it out pretty quick. More so with hover over (yes, I like hover over).

I'd leave the badges as they are, along with the location and status, but change the PSN-ID to an icon alongside the IM ones. You could change the online status too, but a lot of people (myself included) like the current text.

I like the current text aswell...

This is a working progress but my example of how the online username buttons would look and fit... the location next to status is abit messy..

Does anyone ever use those msn, aim etc icons on the bottom?, I have never once looked at them!

I like Robin's layout best so far. I just don't feel the need for the Current Status information at all. I've never paid any necessary attention to it.

The previous design by Azuremen is a little too crowed to my liking. Although the small icons could be a good idea. Maybe the more important badges, like the Super Moderator/Administrator, could stay the size they are now to let others know they're the staff.

I personally feel we don't need the Xbox/Wii usernames. They will more than likely add clutter if they aren't positioned right.

I like it as it is, at least everything breathes now. In most of the examples so far the smaller versions looked cramped and busy.

I use it a lot for sending PMs. I generally send a PM because I want an instant response, so I usually check to see that somone is online before I send a message.

Same here! 👍
IF space is an issue the Premium membership badge could be removed as the username already has a different colour when premium.

I like it the way it is and what some call a "waste" of screen space I find welcoming as it acts like a nice bufffer between the posts. It makes the screen less crowded to look at and easier to read. :)

AMG.

Um...... NO WAY! The only reason I would go premium and im sure alot of other people would is to have that badge... full stop!

I just don't get why everything has to be stirred up, ITS FINE THE WAY IT IS! There is no problem really with space, its the internet, space is abundant! If the user area bothers you don't look at it!

Why the testiness? We're just throwing out suggestions, it's not like we're going to change the way you live your life.
