Lots of people on the scirocco owners club say the same thing. It was kept ff to keep the price down and weight. The golf r is about 10 seconds a lap slower around the ring because of that extra weight.
Hm, while I was recording all of the DLC Pack 2 cars' in-game "demo", I was rather surprised to know that the Scirocco comes with the FF layout. I have uploaded the "demo" via youtube to share with you guys.
I've been driven in a Scirocco in real life before, and I think it's quite nice. I can't wait to test it out in GT5, but I don't really think we need a 4WD version of it. Scirocco's, IMO, shouldn't have more then like 250hp. Just my opinion though.
Which is exactly the case in real life as well, so hats off for PD for getting this right. Why anyone would ask for 4WD when the car is simply better with FWD is beyond me.
As has been covered in this thread - the real car is a front-driver, so PD made it properly. Asking them to make it incorrect seems, well, anti-GT, really!
Since it's turned into a quasi-wishlist of sorts, or discussion on how the actual car is in-game (both of which we have other threads for), I'm closing this.
Why anyone would ask for 4WD when the car is simply better with FWD is beyond me.
