Just fired up my 'box to keep cracking on FM3 for my profile transfer, hit up my friends list and there you all are, FM4ing it up. I hate living in the UK.

So come on, when you take a break to go to the loo, take on fluids or have a ciggy, post your impressions/like/dislikes and placate me!
 
And here I am, game sitting in my car, I'm at work for another 50 minutes, with a 45 minute drive home.

Oh, and I'm doing nothing but read about the game, troll around facebook, and other unproductive things.
 
I know how you feel. Whenever I see a friend playing a game I don't have been am DYING to have, I FREAK out. I will pretty much climb mountains to get it ASAP.

My first impression is that paying another $60 for a standard edition was worth not having to wait for my LCE (Stupid UPS). I'd say more but i'm in a bit of a hurry. Point is: IT"S THAT GOOD! :D

Thing is, I've set FM3 up as much as I can, too, so I'm playing Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, try to ignore as much of the FM4 rrelated news as possible (feels bad, man) and make me feel better by smashing a few faces during a nice round of online Magic: The Gathering.

Ohh, the agony :(

I lost all my Forza 3 data, and I was a VIP member so all my cars have gone. I then decided to sell my old XBOX for the limited edition GEARS OF WAR 3 XBOX. So I started my save all over again and I'm just bored of playing with a controller.
 
Sounds bad... I'm pretty glad I've got basically everythign covered, including some of the carry-over unicorns.

I just like starting with a Ferrari or so better than to decide between a few econoboxes :D
 
Man, this isn't helping. Still, whilst I'm here, just got done hoofing my A-class NSX-R GT around Camino Extreme, and just have to say that I'll remember FM3 as a flawed triumph. There were errors, mistakes, bad design decisions but when there is a 3.2 V-tech 6 just behind your head and an open road ahead of you FM3 was still a brilliant game.

The thought that FM4 is FM3 turned up to 11 makes me all fuzzy.
 
This is like Christmas! Forzaplanet.net and Forza 4 released on the same day. What more could you WAIT for! :)
 
Weeee, the paintable headlights, you can put decals on 'em. Numbers, smiley faces, pentagrams, whatever you can fit. Unfortunately, paintable headlights seem, from what I can tell so far, to only come with certain "forza brand" aero kits, and not on all cars. Still, something new to decal....:D

Yeah. I fired up FM3 for the first time in about a year last week, took my Porsche 930 Turbo (gonna miss you, old friend! :( ) around Fujima Kaido. Still a great game. I couldn't pick up GT4 and say the same. I guess Prologue is the better analogy.
 
Best Buy issue duly sorted - tearing open the package now.

And so it begins... :D

(EDIT) Oh, great. They shipped it out while I was off to the store to secure a copy. Return, it is.
 
Well me being to lazy to pre-order the LCE, I didn't think I'd be able to get it. But then the Walmart I went to had about 15 LCE's. I guess that's where all of Best Buy's games went. :lol:
 
Seeing I just took a break to do most of the things you listed I'll give you how I felt getting into the game and having a look at all the options. This picture I think says it all :)

Well, either we will be suprised or dissapointed when fm4 comes out ;), we gamers have had to much bad experiance with these dawgs..
